This sounds horridly showy off-y but... I'm so glad to read about other peoples problems... then I can think to myself "at least Alexandra doesn't do that/have that/isn't that bad!" and honestly that makes it easier to deal with... sounds terrible doesn't it?
Sami - Alexandra doesn't do it often - I think that's maybe the 3rd time she's done ityeah she has crying sessions but this was screaming! I am amazed none of you heard her it was that loud! :rotfl:
Most of the time I guess she's an easy baby really - but doesn't feel it because I've never had one before and to ME it's hardI'm certain though that if I had a really difficult baby for a day I'd be jumping off a bridge

supply is a long story - but I have got to a steady level which means I have enough to nurse to sleep and to do a full feed during the night (although not always needed) but have to bottle feed the rest of the time. I'm happy with the effort i've made so far, but can't sustain it and decided to let it dwindle when my body makes that decision... Co-sleeping happens on the nights where I can't drag myself out of bed and into the feeding chair as i'm so tired! It makes for an uncomfortable nights sleep for teh adults, although baby does seem to benefit.
Would a cot next to the bed be an option? I can just lean over and drag him (in a nice way!) into the bed and feed him, then slide him back over when I'm finished.
When I do need to change him, I feed him lying down while I'm coming round. That does help, I think its the plodding downstairs bit that is the worst.
Thought I'd offer some ((hugs)) too.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I feel very guilty when I hear about other peoples sleepless and crying babies. Apart from the not feeding thing, Toby is the perfect baby. I've no idea where he gets it from, I was a miserable baby and am a miserable adult. He just seems so happy all the time, all he does is laugh and chuckle. He hasn't cried so far today. He'll occasionally do a quick 'waahh', but he has never cried for more than a minute or so I don't think.
I don't know if I could have another baby. My Mum had a super good first baby, and then was blessed with me. I don't think I'd like to have a me.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

You can make your own flash cards later on too. They learn better if the flash card has your front door, your car, your sofa etc., on them. Here I go again on my own....0 -

sounds good glam,
I started at 32 weeks though and stopped at week 40 (cos he popped out on due date!) I did drink a few afterwards wondering if they'd help with uterine contraction back into shape...
HOw's the GD now?

Glam, you can drink the left over bags afterwards to help your uterus shrink back again... Or just because...
Caitlyn is still wailing... Have tried the gripe water again but think I'm going to give in on that, she completely choked on it and couldn't get her breath for a minute... I imagine she'll be sick shortly like she was last time... I tried lying on the sofa with her like I would in bed but she's too busy screaming to feed... She keeps dropping off then remembering she was screaming and starting up again... Haven't even started tea yet... Think hubby will be ordering chinese tonight at this rate...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
