sami thanks for the list of leggings on ebay, I particularly like the seller who wants me to wear them:
casually in the daytime with an over-sized tee or tunic dress, then glam them up at night time with a pair of killer heels and a statement clutch
Gok wannabe or what?!
these ads are not for real mummies! should read, 'prevent yourself from flashing undies at other women at mum's group, then accidentally wear them to bed by falling asleep fully clothed at 9 pm'
as for 'statement clutch' is this something to do with neglecting the pelvic floors?

Hubby woke up with a bad ankle this morningkind of round the back where his achilles tendon is (I think!) so god only knows what he was up to in the night!
Benjamin slept from 7.30pm til 6am :T he did moan a bit at 3ish but I just popped his dummy back in, gave him his stuffed elephant and gave him a kiss and he went back to sleep!! First time I have ever tried to get him back to sleep...normally I am on auto-pilot to feed him!
When I was feeding Benjamin at 6am there was milk coming out of his nose (we were laying down) I thought it might just be because he was really full (my boobs were bursting!!) so didn't worry too much but it happened again when I fed him at 8.30am
Any ideas?
Thought I would put the actual important question in bold to separate it out from the rest of the waffleplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

morning - caz, I'm having a bad day too - well a bad few days if I am honest, I've had a horrible cold and although LO has been really very good this sleeping thing is getting me down. I feel like it's really effecting DH and I. I got so frustrated last night that when DH left the room with screaming baby (we were trying to let her cry it out, but her gave in and picked her up while flashing me a look that suggested I was the worst mother that ever lived) I threw the baby monitor across the room and it broke. So then I was even more annoyed at myself than I had been to begin with. I don't think i'm very good without sleep.....
anyway, bought a book on sleep from amazon and will see what I can do - otherwise I've found out about the sleep lady that works here in edinburgh. A friend is off to see her this week, so if she thinks it's worth it we'll go too. Although at £35 for a one hour session or £345 for a month of 'support' i'm hoping some ideas from a book will help us just as well
needed some quiet time so LO watching Cbeebies. Now I feel bad about that - I hate this mothers guilt malarky. Perhaps a shower then getting out for a walk (if the rain stops) will help?r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

god I wish I could go as a consultant proper and afford to work the odd day here and there when I wanted to
here's hoping that I win the lottery and can afford to do so
Then we went over to Posh Booby Club for an hour. There was a new lady there who is at that 'all he ever wants to do is feed' stage so she had gone for some help and advice. Whilst chatting she 'confessed' that she had given her son some formula - to which I replied 'Oh well, you do what you have to do...formula isn't failure' and I got shot a really dirty look from the BF Counsellor!!
I haven't really had much to do with this lady because Benjamin and I are feeding fine so I don't really know her but it makes me so angry that BF is pushed to the detriment of everything else....and any mummy who chooses to use whatever means to feed her child is frowned upon. The poor mum had been told that her son hasn't been latching properly for 8 weeks and was clearly a bit upset and shocked...all I was seeking to do was reassure her (and to let her know that we all go through a stage of feeling like our babies feed constantly).
Anyway, it has settled in my mind that I won't be taking up the offer of training to be a BF Advocate...I just don't think I am cut out to push it that hard.
Not meaning to open the BF debate again but I wanted to write it down so it doesn't pick away at my brainwas it definitely coming OUT of his nose (not that you're unable to assertain something like that but u kno what I mean) The only 'problem' I can think of besides it just being fast flowing milk is a cleft palate but I'm sure that would have been picked up and caused problems since the start...

I can't picture weezle with either of those 'statement' clutch bags :rotfl::rotfl:r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
