My current budget for the first year of the next baby is just under a third of Alice's. Have just realised I'll need to add new bottles (and possibly a new breastpump) though as I want to get BPA free.

OH went out for pizza half an hour ago. He's just come home to tell me that it got burned so they're doing a new one.

Why why why would you have a python?

they are fantastic animals and great to have! i have kept, bred and worked for reptile rescue scotland and also customs and excise. gave them up a few years ago as i didnt have the time to put into them but would have more in a second! The python could not have been in a secure tank to have escaped and must have been hungry if it had bit her as i have never known a python to bite? father has been arrested due to not having a licence so obviously didnt have a clue. poor baby though.

No - I just like to plan ahead. I made it last year but not planning to TTC until Alice is at least three. (Will partly depend on how long she breastfeeds for as I don't think breastfeeding and hyperemesis would go very well together.) I also made the detailed list of what we'd need and budget for Alice before we TTC (although not so far in advance) which turned out to be a very good thing as I would have struggled to do that after I was pregnant.

no :( it had gone when i went back on the monday! just going to get a cheap one instead, looked at a red kite one in asda for £25 that looks good! i know everyone raves about the uber cheap ikea one but it doesnt have a tray

    We have the tray too!

Personally, I wouldn't have bought the Ikea one when Poppy was tiny as I had a preference for a cushioned chair with a 5 point harness. We graduated to Ikea when she was one :D.

Weezl - 12mths SMP wouldn't infiuence my decision to have more children, and I hope it wouldn't be the main reason for anybody....People should have babies because they want them, not for any perks/benefits that they may get.....not saying that anyone here would do that:)

I hope that doesn't appear snappish, but I am sat here fuming actually. I live opposite a pub, which is generally a pretty nice place, there is never any fights or trouble and gets a complete mixed age range in there. But, come summer they all tend to stand outside all night shouting and blasting out music from cars...I have had to shut all the kids bedroom windows and there rooms Inc. Kai's are now 27C (80F)...the poor kids either have to sweat or get kept awake by a bunch of !!!!-heads!!!!!

I don't think anyone would have a baby to get the perks, i think what weezl meant is that a couple might put it off because they can't afford another but 12mths SMP would mean they could afford to IYSWIM?

 at the pub! we live next to a pub and our bedroom looks onto the beer garden it can be annoying but its mostly ok for us.

can someone tell me how to explain to Edgar that if he's hungry constantly punching my boob away won't help his tummy get filled :p Chris is falling asleep but not managing it due to Edgar not being quiet *sigh*

    Ah I probably mis-read, sorry:o

I really, really don't want to move as I love the house, love the garden, love the area....just hate the pub, in the summer........winter time is fine as no-one bothers going outside, apart from a quick fag...

    Me three agree!

Me four! (Hey, I have to celebrate when I occasionally say something cleverish :D) If it helps mfd, I'm going to train to be a peer counsellor (just waiting for the venue, it might be a while!) and I agree with you and I would put money on that the peer counsellor at my booby group would too!

I'll help: Edgar, punching it doesn't help the milk out!

    Trying kneading instead *ducks*
