We're now home from the hospital.. Finally made the move today lunchtime. Have been teary ever since but I know Rhys is okay there and I can go in whenever (think OH might have hidden my car keys though..
) but it's still not as good as I thought it would be to be home.
Am intending to go in every morning for half nine-ish for the doctors rounds then do a few jobs out and about over lunch, go back for a few hours in the afternoon, then again in the evening with OH once he's home from work. Hopefully I'll find enough to keep myself occupied.
On the bright side, the biggest reason I've allowed myself to come home is that I've finally got enough milk expressed to go in the freezer too. At 10pm tonight, there was enough to feed him until 2pm tomorrow plus another six feeds in the freezer tooConsidering three days ago I was only able to express each feed just before it was due (25ml every two hours), I'm feeling pretty damn pleased with myself that I've got stocks again!
In a few weeks (I hope!), I'll have to move back in to a parent flat once Rhys gets to the breastfeeding on demand stage and they'll also teach me things like bathing him and anything else I need to know then we're free to go.. How scary is that?! (and so exciting!)
Right, best go to bed..0 -
Hope things are ok angelfairy *hugs*
That sounds positive elle. Make sure you rest up well between hospital visits, so you've got plenty of energy when Rhys gets to the breastfeeding on demand stage.
What a rubbish night out we had! The casino was awful so we just did the minimum bits we had to do for the mystery shop job and then left. It was in the centre of Newcastle so we decided to go for drinks somewhere else. Everywhere was really loud and busy, but we decided to go into a bar anyway. We were trying to yell at each other over the music and decided we were not enjoying it at all so hubby suggested going home for a cup of tea instead. How sad are we?
Don't think I could get into city centre weekend drinking again. Used to enjoy it when I was younger, but much prefer quieter places where you can chat to each other over the background music. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Hi Angelfairy,
we had two sessions of cranial osteopathy for our little one, she was extremely colicky, very unsettled and hardly slept both day and night. She'd had a very fast birth and a very moulded head. TBH we were at our wits end and didn't know where to turn and in my opinion it works wonders, where we previosly had a grumpy baby that I struggled with, now we have a lovely, smily, content little bubs.:T
HTH.

AF ((((((hugs)))))) Hope everything is ok
Elle I'm sure OH will have left allthe housework and everything else to do once you got home so you'll have plenty to keep you occupied:rotfl::rotfl:Well he might have tried his best while you were in hospital:eek: Hopefully Rhys will follow you home soon.
Becles thats a pity that it was carp, bet you were really looking forward to going out as well. I hate going into town, I'd rather sit in a local pub and have a few drinks where you can actually speak and hear each other.
El is off colour, she is disorientated and unsteady on her feet, wondering if it's an ear infection, so will wait and see how she is tomorrow, caz thats been from yesterday.Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070
