  • A word of warning...it beeps when baby's room is too hot - which is a good feature. But unless you switch that feature off it just beeps and beeps and beeps every few minutes until the room cools down. The other night it kept waking me up and nearly had me in tears until hubby had the good sense to go into the menu and work out how to stop it beeping!

Lu - dummies can be given to Santa ;) at the moment he is sat holding a teether that has been in the fridge - straight into his mouth! Trouble is after a few minutes he forgets to keep hold of it and it drops on the floor!

    dmbw hello and welcome

I took El to toddlers like usual today, except i crashed the car in the community centre car park. I hit the excelarartor instead of the brake and backed right into a boulder. Wrecked the bumper and ripped off the cover for the spare wheel. Never mind tho life goes on, ok after a few tears life goes on :rotfl:

SM I sometimes get bored there is probably plenty I could do round the house it's just finding the energy to do it.

Caz Another buggy to add to your ever growing collection (I think it was you and me that was speaking about our buggy obsession) I'll have to buy another to keep up with ya :rotfl:

MFD - she'll be in our room for a good while yet but it would be nice to be able to pop her in the nursery for her lunch nap - or even in the morning when I get up I could leave her in her moses basket if she's snoozing and I can go downstairs to do some washing etc...
I'm sure if it beeps annoyingly I'll soon work out how to turn that off ;) hehehe

Oh for goodness sake - I just changed the poop machine and whilst fetching new nappy she pooped and widdled all over the place - cleaned her and the nearby casualties... put her in the jungle swing and 4 minutes later PHHHHHRRRRRRRRRT!!!
Some times I could cry... I really could... *sigh*

I leave Caitlyn asleep in the morning so I can get Aimee ready for school... But the actual guidelines say that the baby should sleep in the same room as you until they're 6 months old... Health visitor turned up and Caitlyn was sleeping on her front on a cushion... She'd fallen asleep across my knee and I just slid her over to save disturbing her....
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Krystal - DS wants to feed constantly today. I'm a bit tender on one side, think that is because of the constant comfort sucking? I expressed to make sure nothing is clogged up, and only got a small amount, so I'm not engorged, but it feels like it!

We had three dirty nappies yesterday, andone today! Tried him with a bottle last night but he refused it, so its boobies all the way now.

The guidelines are based on dubious 'research' to say the least.

We waited until 3 months-ish and to be honest the whole house is sleeping better for the move.

Edit - Benjamin is now asleep and won't let go of the bl00dy teether!!! He is currently pressing it against the side of his head LOL

Drive to the airport and long-term parking, or take a cab equipped with a baby seat? About the same cost either way (maybe a bit more driving after paying for petrol for my car), being driven is less hassle but having control of your own times and not having to arrange a car with baby seat from the airport on return is less hassle.... I am torn!
