    you called? :D
its Morhulin - the saviour of little bottys everywhere!

3onitsway and Emlou - if you listen to my EX mother in law she will tell you she had both her boys on solids at a month old, bone meal or something :rotfl:
and that one of them had a severely wonky nose that shes absolutely convinced she "straightened" through the miracle of stroking it each time she fed him milk....
to put it blunty .... shes bat !!!!!! nuts.

well, ive been up since 3.30am with Daniel, he woke up crying and wet, so i changed him and then he was wide awake and not happy about going back to bed, so to ensure everyone gets some sleep ive brought him down stairs... hes strapped into his pram, wide awake but quiet...
everytime i peer in hes just laying there playing with the tags on his night time comfort blanket bear max,
its so nice and bright outside i could actually go for a walk.... is that mad?
shame this didnt happen yesterday... we get a market on a thursday at least i would have been first to the bargains!

Weezl can I ask a silly question do you just like searching things for others or are you a medical professional just that everyone seems to ask you?????

not a silly question at all!;) My brother is a doctor, but I work in mental health, just as a counsellor though :) I do love to research stuff though... Part of the way I coped with fears during pregnancy was to do a lot of research, so I guess I've carried on!

You need to learn the skill of sounding interested in taking their well meaning advice on board, but really you are going "blah blah blah" in your head and ignoring it :D

Pleased you had a good time at the baby group and hope the lunch goes well next week.
Here I go again on my own....

ah i'm glad my auntie isnt the only one who supposedly weaned so early lol! she forgets i remember her BF her kids declaring that she didnt want it to end...

bat !!!!!! nuts :rotfl: havent heard that before!!

sami, how do you go about asking for these things on script? i asked if i could get infacol or something similar and my doctor said "its cheap enough dont worry about it!!"
i've also had to buy 2 packs of ruddy infant gaviscon this week at £4.12 a pop cos my docs arent on the ball with repeat scripts and the chemist woman didnt want to know about the minor ailment scheme?!

cot update... MIL is getting it delivered to her house (?) by sunday :j
i dont know why it couldnt come straight here...
OH decided he wanted some fun last night so i bargained and exchanged that for a sleepless night and let him sort out the arm flailing monster ;) but i still woke up this morning to find him inbetween us despite his moaning yesterday about me putting him in bed with us!!

when we get this cot we're looking to maybe try and start putting him down awake  cuddling him to sleep has been marvellous but now all of a sudden as soon as his head hits whatever you put him on he springs awake and all smiles! so we may as well kill two birds with one stone. does anyone have any tips? dont want to do controlled crying as suggested by the HV at the group yesterday cos the walls in the flats are paper thin and i dont think the neighbours will appreciate it!!

Tried Madame with the dummy another couple of times last night but she really wasn't interested... Hubby came up with the bright suggestion of dunking it in gripe water... Except we don't have any... And she's not old enough for it... I married a clever man ;)

Anyhoo... We went up to bed at 10:30ish... She settled by about 11:30ish... And I woke up at 6am completely in a panic to make sure she was still breathing... She was... She woke for a feed about half past, went back to sleep and is still asleep now!!! If only I didn't have to get up and sort Aimee out for school, I could be enjoying a lie in too... Oh well... Might aswell make the most of having full use of my arms and get the scouse started for tonight... Might not get another chance...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Well we're waiting for a call back from doctors to be triaged... madam is still really sniffly and has now started coughing :( And it's really interfering with her eating - she tries to latch on but she can't breathe properly so ends up spluttering and then we have flailing and screaming and (sorry) snot everywhere the poor wee mite :( bottle is slightly better but not much - it's at least easier for her to come on and off to breathe :(
Also knackered as up umpteen times during the night...

yay seeing doc at 12:10 :) just called as i was typing :)
