I'm on a spending roll! £30+ on breast pump bits and pieces (new bit that's broken, new cup thingy, extra valves and 2 larger bottles and 2 slow flow teats) and now £50 on a Tesco shop for delivery tomorrow LOL SHOULD have placed it 2 days ago but just never got round to it... whooops :)
At least I managed to use a £10 code and Alexandra is the proud owner of her own clubcard account now :rotfl: Clever girl! ;)

oh i forgot to ask a question last night.....

ladies that are expressing and have the medela system, any of you with larger boobs, have you purchased the larger size soft shell? i am just thinking i might need it becuase i can see some milk gathering at the bottom and i wonder if i am there not getting the milk expressed properly which could hinder what i am trying to do??

and if so.... where did you buy them from?

I bought the bigger version from http://www.expressyourselfmums.co.uk/products.asp/subcatID/32/Spare-Parts-Accessories-for-breastpump.htm. it did make a difference. If you find yourself squeezing the milk from further back your breast than the original shell fits, then it may be worth considering.

start by ringing the number in my signature, in theory you'll be put through to the nearest available supporter, if there is nobody local they can take your details and find someone local to you, or you can pm me and I can ask on your behalf on our list of registered supporters :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

My OH had some trouble with BF at first and around 5-6 weeks we all went to see a breastfeeding counsellor who ran weekly clinics at a local GP surgery. She was really great (although by the time the appt came round OH was 80% there anyway!).
I think health visitors gave us contact details for the counsellor.

elle, lots of hugs and snugs to both you and Rhys. What a little fighter he is! He will be home before you know it xx.

Feely, I really wish I lived nearer to you. As well as giving you a big hug, I would try and help you out in any way you felt I could. You really are a fabulous Mummy and Toby needs you and loves you all the world! Take care of yourself and try not to make any decisions until you feel brighter xx.

*I still have about 10 pages to catch up on!*

    xx
