Me too. I think that is the main reason I avoid all the Baby Groups and friends with babies. As horrible as it sounds, other people having success at breastfeeding upsets me no end :o
:oooh I d on't want to make anyone feel bad :o
Trust me I didn't do half as good a job as you the first time around! I expressed for less than a week with Chris and he was fully formula fed by 2weeks old.

Please don't avoid groups because of this either, When I went to Headstart all the babies were born within 2mths of each other and out of about 20 mums there only one was breast feeding and I can only think of a handful of mum's from groups I've been to that BFed and I've met hundreds of mummies now :D

Emlou - I'm allergic to calopl :D throw it up within seconds, I'm actually allergic to a certain sweetener in it so shop around the other flavours and brands of infant paracetamol I'm sure there'll be one to suit ;)

SM - I'm planning to leave the house 2mo  just going 2min drive to surestart centre so Chris can play on the slide and I can go inside if I need to feed *prays Edgar sleeps through it all* If he's hungry he'll get fed tho, I'm not fussed these days about my body, my stomach has been ruined by Edgar but he is worth it and if anyone doesn't like it then they don't have to look

On that note, have any of you ladies had physio for your stomach muscles after baby? MW said I should be reffered as my muscles have spilt and are about 4 inches apart so I need to do some abs stuff to get them back together - I'm not sure as I'm the laziest person ever and prob won't do the excersizes they give me :o

Before I forget I must tell you all to avoid using snapfish - I've used them for a while but won't again as my mum has just got photos including nudey-ness of Chris from some random woman who received them with her photos  there was also some that the woman assumed were my mums but they aren't!! so must have been a 3rd person's.
I'll never entrust snapfish with photos of my babies ever again!

I had ths with photobox, I got a toddler in the bath with mine. I complained and got free photos added into my account and that is where the free photos are still sitting in my account!!!

OMG -- haven't been online for day (hubby pinched the laptop last night) and i have spent the last 1.5 hours catching up.

r.mac - MFD is right, i have the full baby whisper book. is there anything you still need to know? would be happy to pass it onto you if you like. i read a part on sleeping and i was doing everything wrong apparently so i haven't looked at it again.

elle - great news about rhys. he looks gorgeous. i too have started taking fenugreek today. i have also been taking another tablet and have seen my milk supply increase. to be honest i am trying to build it up again from next to nothing (10ml from BOTH boobs), but tonight managed 40ml in total.

redmel/emlou/mfd - my little girl has been trying to sit herself up (by raising her head and legs up) for the past week or so. she too is such a nosey little thing. i keep telling her it is not time for that yet, to which she just laughs or smiles at me.

she does not suck her thumb, but does also try to put all of her hand in her mouth and has made herself gag a few times.

oh i can't remember what everyone was talking about and what i wanted to say. typical!!!

my little girl now weighs 12.2lb. she has just gone over the 50th percentile mark. i was worried as she hardly ever takes a full bottle (5oz - when the guide does say she should be on 6oz - formual guide)

feelie - when i was in hospital and also when i came home the MW and HV said to me when i asked that they couldn't tell me how much my little one should be having of my EBM as they cannot measure how much BF babies actually have.

i think it was r.mac who said it, if toby wasn't hungry he would take the milk. i agree with her. he is thriving by the sounds of things and you are doing amazingly!!!!

sorry i know i havent mentioned a lot of people's posts but i can't remember them all

    xxx

My very strange baby latched on last night then slept through the night! He fed for twenty minutes then slept for almost 8 hours!
AF , fantastic news on the milk, well done you!
