Roo slept from midnight till 4am - then woke up and demanded food - she had about 4/5 fl oz of EBM and then conked out again till 7! :j :j :j
She then wanted some grub at about 8:30 but only had about 1 fl oz - obviously just peckish! Now snoozing next to me the poor wee mite - still very snifflyunfortunately trying to keep her wrapped up warm is a loosing battle - she will NOT keep covers on... wriggle butt!

feelie - brilliant Toby - what a clever baby. I'm sure you feel all the better for it too. Keep up the good work - you are doing so well. Oh and don't fret about using a little formula. it does not cancel any of teh BF benefits.
emlou - is there room to try baby in bed with you? We had the same prob and moved LO out into her own rooma nd cot, but I know you are still waiting for that....when our LO sleeps in our bed she always has a good sleep - typical! Might work short term?
AF - thanks re: baby whisperer. *my turn to whisper* We seem to have broken the back of our sleep problem - helped by the jabs and calpol. her teeth are really hurting her - yesterday was hard work as I had to be constantly distracting her, but now I know what it is we can work with the wonder liquidIf you are doing sleep wrong (according to the BW book, then we probably are too!).
sleep - thanks for the various suggestions, DH sushed her back to sleep when she woke at 10pm and then she slept till 6am this morning. I feel like a new woman

MM - it's not just sore nipples hun
It's thrush which is why they're sore - have cream from doctors for it and madam is a lot easier now her oral thrush is nearly gone
I have no doubt that once it's cleared the soreness will go too - it's getting better each day at the moment so we'll tough it out
And tomorrow she'll be 3 weeks old bless her little farty bum :rotfl:

Its expensive but worth it, and you don't use much I've still got nearly all of it left.
I agree, Lansinoh is brilliant stuff! But, don't put it on with thrush, you need to keep them nipples as dry as you can (in fact, if you can sit with them hanging out after feeding all the better!) :-)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

You're making it easier for her by passing on your antibodies... Apart from that you can use saline drops up their nose to clear blockages and I think that's about it...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
