or texting OH at work every hour declaring how tired i am and has he called his mum yet :rotfl:

apparantly she has chosen the one she wants to get us so i dont want to tread on any toes, we dont see her very often cos she lives a 45 minute drive away and i think shes a bit jealous of how much time my nan spends with the little fella. when DSS was born OH lived at home and DSS and the ex moved in so she spent a lot of time with her and they're quite close.

Blimey, I feel well and truely left out with all this breastfeeding talk!

Me too. I think that is the main reason I avoid all the Baby Groups and friends with babies. As horrible as it sounds, other people having success at breastfeeding upsets me no end :o

Caz - with all due respect, you are very young to be sterilised IMHO. I know you don't want any more but believe me, life changes when you reach your 30's.

Edit to say - Caz...I didn't mean that to sound patronising even though it did. Sorry.

I asked for your opinions as i knew i would get them! (not sure how to multi quote lol!) i spoke to OH last night and he said the same. no one knows what the future holds and in 10 years we could decide we want more or that we may not even be together we never know? i think what has got me is that i bumped into a friend who got done and 2 years later her little boy was killed by a drunk/drug driver, she was injured and her neighbour and daughter were also killed. i know a child could never be replaced but it does make you think?

i am going to phone and ask them to put it on hold as i dont think i should go with doubts. at least someone else might get in for that slot. erin wasnt planned and was a big shock, i never told anyone until i was 23 weeks apart from OH mum and dad. think i have rambled enough for this time of the morning lol! and thanks for your opinions x

not neccessarily with virgin media you only need a landline installed for the tv channels, we have internet only.

they give you the option to call you that minute or in two minutes so its not even like i could get them to ring in a hour at someone elses house, i'm still fuming :mad:

Ahh not quite right - although you are connected to cable there is still a landline however Virgin smell and don't let you have the line details and don't activate the line for calls (btw I work for an ISP so this is my territory ;) )
I don't suppose that your mum or someone has a landline? all you need to do is be near it when they call and access internet from your mobile or something? Just trying to think of solutions :)

As I struggle to contemplate 2 or 3 kids let alone 5 I personally don't see the problem :) But obviously you feel that you might want more (YIKES!) so why not get your hubby snipped? This is far easier to reverse (I have a 5 year old half brother who is proof of that) and very quick for the bloke...

yeah the jags are usually 8,12,16 weeks? erin got her second at 14 though as she wasnt well enough to get them at 12 and they only do clinic once a fortnight!
