He was! Got him back this morning and he went mental bouncing around all excited. He's been glued to my leg all day :D
hello can i join in here ... i had my son yesterday at 10:30 at home ... but im alittle worried hes not BFing well he doesnt seem full and i dont seem to be producing at lot x

Hi - nice to meet you and congrats :j

Did you have any drugs like pethidine when you were in labour? Sometimes it can pass onto the baby and they're really drowsy for the first couple of days. It happened to me with Charlotte and she didn't really feed much at all for the first 24 hours or so, but once she perked up, she started feeding normally. Gorgeous pic that you posted :)

Sami - congrats to you too :j Another lovely boy you have there. Our chemist always gives syringes for baby medicine. It's much easier than trying to spoon it in when they are tiny.
Here I go again on my own....

ehhh am I missing something here? Unless you connect with a mobile dongle then to have an internet connection you have to have a landline... Whether or not you have a phone attached to it is obviously a different matter...
not neccessarily with virgin media you only need a landline installed for the tv channels, we have internet only.

they give you the option to call you that minute or in two minutes so its not even like i could get them to ring in a hour at someone elses house, i'm still fuming :mad:

    an update on sleep:
last night actually went really well! typical! She went down (nursed them into cot) about 8pm. she had had her jabs so we had given her a little calpol and she had also had teething powder. a few noises about 45mins later, but she didn't wake up. slept until 3.30am when she came into bed and had a very small feed an back to sleep till about 6.30am.

i'm sure the jabs had an impact, but u'm hoping that helping her teething pain has had a poitive effect that will repeat itself!!!

Caz - if you aren't sure, IMO you should wait until you are, but take other precautions!!!! it's such a huge thing.

how annoying, i couldnt find a code when i ordered off there last week! ah well.

how was everyones babies last night after the evil jabs? seth just got really sleepy :D didnt make him sleep through like last time though, typical! no grumpy baby though, its all good :) going to put him in a babygrow today cos his little legs do look a bit sore bless him.

getting really stressed about the lack of cot, now seth can roll over he's squashing himself against the sides of his basket and waking himself up every 45 mins  i keep harassing OH to harass MIL about it, the pair of them are being a pain in the !!!!!! dont get me wrong, i'm grateful for the gift, we couldnt afford it ourselves at the moment, i'll be even more grateful when it actually gets bought and is here though :o i keep caving and letting him sleep in our bed but he likes to wriggle round and sleep sideways so me and OH are balancing on the sides cos its easier than waking him up and moving him round :o

    oh emlou this sounds bad!

Can you do that thing where you get what you need in a nice way, like: 'I know how busy you are, so I was just surfing and I found a bargain so I ordered it and all you need to do is just chuck us a cheque :) so that's a bit less hassle for you?'
