MFD - My BIL is only 18 and pretty shy, I think I corrupted him enough in the 7yrs I've know him the poor thing. off to bed now (via a nappy change and I'm sure lots of feeding)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

  • CG - I'm surprised! Shows how much I know!! Most of my friends wouldn't either and none of them stuck bf'ing for long. Thing is for me the embarrassment/upset of having a crying baby is much worse to me than getting my boobie out even if everyone could see it :D

surprised? why? cos ive got such a gob on me for mothers rights then i shy away from doing the very thing i go on about?? lol :D
i just couldnt do it, and managed to manage my time that i never got caught out of the hosue with a hungry baby who demanded an alfresco feed
it has to be said that i didnt feed for long either...
about 3 months with Becca, and just over a week with Danny but that wasnt my fault, i would have gone on longer if i could have

Caz - i didnt mean to sound patronising either... :D
  • One last word before my huband divorces me :o - can you tell I have been stuck in the house all day today, I haven't shut up!!

Krystal - your tickets are definitely show tickets aren't they? Some of the ones I have got off Applause Store (I think it was there) were the free tickets where only 50% - 75% of the people who have tickets get in, first come, first served...when we went to watch Al Murray being filmed we were the last ones in  if we had been a minute or 2 later we would have had a wasted journey.

Not saying don't go if that is what they are...just make sure you get there early!

They're first come first served which is why we're leaving 4hrs early... It's about 2 1/2hrs drive there... Depending on traffic and the wrecklessness of my SIL's driving...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

just a tip for the future, if you ever get tickets again get the person on the phone to upgrade you to priority so you will definitely get in...
tell them how far your travelling and they will do it,
they did with us and richard hammonds blast lab (my DD making her apearance on CBBC next month!) :D

ok i need some advise from you all. i got app for sterilisation 2 weeks on fri and im having doubts. this way cannot be reversed. i know i dont want to have any more children but it seems very final, a few people i have spoke to have said that they have regretted it. also i cant get erin o take a bottle and she wouldnt be able to feed for a while.
Well, I never regretted it, although a) I was older than you and b) DS3 was about 9 months when I had it done. I was still feeding but only at night, I should have been discharged but couldn't stop throwing up soon enough so they kept me in. DH went to get DS3 and travel cot and I fed him fine.

If you're in doubt, put it off.

The way we looked at it, if something had happened to my DH and the boys there was no way I'd want more children with another man, whereas DH thought that if he were in that position he wouldn't want NOT to be able to father more children if he met a second love of his life and she wanted them.

Actually he just couldn't bear the thought of being interfered with, but he can always justify anything he decides. ;)

I know it's a bit ghoulish to think of the worst case scenario, but that was ours.
