I am CLEARLY not the only person with a problem with Enviorfone I sent 2 phones Iphone 3g and experia x10. The iphone was in reasonable condition few scuff marks on the back, screen had ALWAYS been protected with a screen protector the phone had NEVER had earphones connect to it as it was only ever used as a phone by me! the experia was in exceptional condition and had had a hard case cover from the day it was taken out of the box a screen protector on screen and a smaller one on the camera lens!. They offered me £78 for the experia and £65 for the iphone I was a bit miffed at the offer of the iphone but sent both phones off to envirofone BOTH double wrapped in bubble wrap and I took photos of both phones as proof of condition. 3 days ago after nearly a month since sent I had a email telling me that they were reducing the offer to £6 for the iphone due to damaged screen, an LCD fault and broken off jack in earphone socket. They offered £38 for my experia claim the screen was cracked and volume buttons not working. I immediately contacted them by email refusing the offer and asking them to revise offer or send me back my phones in the same condition I sent them in, I enclosed photos of both phones I recieved a email back today telling me TOUGH that it was to late payment had already been sent (even though I have never agreed to it) and both phones had been sent to "stock" and could not be returned

They must think I am dumb............I am not letting this rest I will keep on at them and I WILL report to every consummer show govening body, offcom TV if I have to!

    I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO MAD

It is now 8th August nearly 3 months since I have had the misfortune of dealing with this criminal company and I still have no phones OR money. Have today heard from Citizen Advice who have passed all my concerns and copies of all these complaints (and more) to Trading Standards, I have also contacted the consumer shows, Dont get Done get Dom, Rip off Britain and Watchdog and I am due to meet with a solicitor next Thursday it is likely to cost way more than the phones were ever worth but its now become more than that its now a point to prove

I just looked up their web site ie dontgetdonegetdom.co.uk and watchdog.co.uk etc and filled in the online forms dont get done get dom directs you to an email address so I just emailed them with all details.

CAB forwarded my complaint to Trading Standards and I just wrote to office of fair trading and waiting for a reply

Can I also suggest that anyone who has a complaint leaves them on envirofones facebook page.................They REALLY don't like it will delete your messages but keep re posting and tell them you will re-post they will then tie themselves in knots trying to talk their way out of the complaint and shoot themselves in the foot in the process I am currently on my 10th post with them to which I had in 3 days managed to attract over 17 people not happy with their service who left complaints on my link...........checked today and surprise surprise all 17 complaints were deleted off of my link making it look like I am the only one complaining.........strange that don't you think!

whats the link to their facebook page?

its really easy to ban users off there so i doubt it would last for long i run a business facebook page also with 10k members, we get it all time.

They have disputed my small claims court action and surprise surprise the phone landed back on the doorstep after 4 months

They have disputed it saying i have made the claim against envirofone and that is not their business name lol

bunch of clowns so costs me an extra 25 quid really is nothing you can do to these guys they do what they want, they claim they never open phones up and dont know how to! and that i am lying!

yep I just tried........what a surprise they really are trying to cover their tracks!

I had a recorded delivery today a letter from the head of operations giving me the same BS about my phones but with a counter offer of the original cheque plus a good will gesture of £50 taking the total to the original offer that they tried to get out of!................funny that!

I will be excepting the offer will cash the cheque then continue the campaign since they clearly think they can get away with it!

They messed with the wrong person when they tried to rip me off and I will continue until I get an apology for their behavour
  • I recently sent my phone off to Envirophone after being offered £22.00 for my Xperia X8. The phone was working perfectly, working for a mobile phone company myself, I knew everything was fine. When sending it, as a precaution, I wrapped the phone up in plastic, bubble-wrap and finally a plastic parcel bag. After Envirophone had finally received my phone the offer was dropped to £7.40 because of water damage. I've never come across such a clearly fraudulent company before, that are more than confident in putting whatever kind of damage they like as reason for lowering the price. I'm now stuck with the £7.40 payment as I was out of the country on business and missed their 3 day refuse offer window, which is my own problem I know. Just be warned before sending high value phones to them.
