  • Hi all, are we expecting a better rate against the $ by the end of the week with the likely US announcement of QE and the resultant weakening of their currency?

Any predictions as to what we may get?

I predict it will be unpredictable.

Seriously, good news for the US, the $ strengthens... bad news for them... the $ strengthens...

I've been watching the rate very carefully for nigh on 2 years. I'm still none the wiser as to how it works :)

I know the feeling on the rate, I've been to the US once a year in Sept for the past three years and have been spoilt on the rates, now hoping it will bounce back to about $1.65 but who knows?!?
