  • Afternoon all from a a snowed in Scotland, hellish weather to say the least.

Hope you had a good thanksgiving Neil and drank and ate plenty.

Currency on the way down given all concern on Eurozone and Irelands bailout.

North West - have booked three weeks fly-drive in and out of Seattle, plan is to do a loop south into the north of Oregon, back up the coast to Olympic NP also DD is into Twilight books (she's almost 15) so we've got to go via Forks & La Push, then over to Vancouver Island and then to Vancouver.

We usually go at Easter so it'll seem a long time to wait until the end of July!

Sounds the business, I've been looking at doing a few different areas like this.

Was excellent thanks! Several turkey dinners and plenty of beer / football (of the US variety)!

  • Hi Neil
You getting a good rate for your trip I think. It is snowing heavily alot of places and has been for a few days so your luck on the currency is balanced by possible delays

Spoke to my folks this morning. All clear at the moment...

We've got freezing rain forecast for tomorrow and then a big storm heading East. Meant to get here after I leave. Fingers crossed!
Am driving to Indy tomorrow night, stopping over there the night then up to Chicago ready for the evening flight. NO MORE SNOW!!
