I have instructed Mr 4Chickens to buy £250 worth of USD today.
We need about £1500 of USD by September so a bit here and a bit there won't break the bank. I could leave it all until late August but there are no guarantees either way. If I had a crystal ball I would be ok. The chances are the rate is going to go up and down like a !!!!!s' drawers but by buying in bits and peice I hope to acheive a reasonable average rate in the end.

    Hi there
I think I am going to get some tomorrow
Do you purchase via the MSE money checker? I have never purchased online before

Does it matter re credit/debit card?

    Thanks

I don't buy currency online, never have and never will (re Crown).
Mr 4Chickens tootles off to our local Thomas cook and buys them over the counter, so he can see the greenbacks in the flesh and the whites of the dudes eyes who's selling them.:D
    Hope that helps

Thanks - I am not aware of crown issues, but I notice there is a thread about it so will read up! Edit- Just had a look at a few posts .. That's terrible... I hope people are managing to get some compensation.

Thanks - Just wondering whether the rate instore will be as good as online.. probably not?
