Roxie - I'm really glad he's starting communicating (nicely) with you. Keep up the pressure of your expectations so that he doesn't slide backwards into his usual pattern of negative behaviour. I've got my fingers crossed for you that he can change long-term and become a support to you, rather than a hindrance.
