There have been lots of complaints about them on these boards with people unable to connect and not being able to contact MIP.
theloft, I can't understand what the mention of account dates in the T&C's would achieve. It may not reflect their actual policies at all, but I won't be signing up to anthing with F4 without being clear on exactly how their billing cycle works.
Thanks again to all for your help.0 -
Whatever date you sign up is your monthly billing date.
There has been loads of trouble over the way, at one time, they tried to implement their "every 30 days billing".
Because of that they now keep you to the same date every month.0 -
Hello Fast 4 users ! Just thought I would update you on my changeover to Broadband with Primus. Had initial teething problems with set-up which took a couple of days to sort out. Unfortunately I was dispensing with a telephone line so my Fast 4 service was gone even though it was paid for until 26th June. But everything now sorted and I have to say it is fantastic, the speed with which websites load and emails download, is quite amazing. I can understand now why people used to laugh at us still on steam dial-up!. But nevertheless Fast 4 was a good deal and I will miss you all !! I am now better off by around £5 per month (my Fast 4 cost.) as I am now saving on a telephone line rental. If you are thinking of changing to BB, I would recommend it!!"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0

I have Just received my first broadband bill from Fast 4 .£9.98 + £2 for free talk phone calls .I wasnt able to phone then about this but I sent them a message via members area .They said the £2 for calls was because there is a minimun call spend of £10 per month .So if I only use the free weekend calls I get charged £2 .But if my bill is less than £10 I get charged £2 . very strange .I will never use £10 in calls every month .Even when I was with BT I never used £5 ,and BT dont give any free calls . So it looks like my internet will be costing me £11.98 per month .0

Welcome to the club!
Since £11-98 probably isn't such a bad deal (although the way Fast 4 has handled this issue leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth), I guess the trick is to make sure you use as much as possible of your £2's worth of calls each month.0 -
Email I received from F4 today:
Fast 4 continue with their prices down turn and launch uncapped unlimited
broadband up to 8mb Max
Fast4.net has today announced that all new customers to its broadband
service can enjoy unlimited, uncapped usage from only £14.99 and now
includes Free Connection, Migration and a USB Modem.
Kevin Baigent, Operations Director of Fast4 said "We continually monitor
market prices and we believe that our Unlimited service is very hard to
beat. Most of our competitors are pushing capped products which eventually
make the higher users of the service upset with the cost. ."
Kevin continued "We promise that our service is totally uncapped,
unrestricted and have no fair usage policy !"

Well, I am now disconnected from Fast 4 completely, no email etc. My Broadband from Primus is first class, straight through every time, speed is 1.150 mbps. I am very happy so far!! So it's adios, fellow fast 4 users. This will be my last post on this thread unless there is a complete reversal of the situation, which I am not expecting."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0

Hi peeps,
Fast4s site says dial up is now 4.99 after I signed up at 6.99. Are they trying to get back all those who jumped ship recently? tweeterPeel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. Peer at your baby's eyes for them to reflect back just people-throw away your flags and religious symbols...0
