Argh thanks couldn't see for looking
I just joined ontel from Telco Global (owned by Onetel) yesterday but with Telco Global I have the CPS so no need for a box am I right in saying I need one of the dialler boxes with Onetel.
Thanks for help
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -
If your line rental is with BT, you don't need a "box" but if you are with NTL, I think you do. Aliasojo was sent an email from Onetel about the "box" which sounded like they were sending out the same email to everyone whether they are with BT or not.
I was with Onetel before I shifted to TalkTalk, line rental with BT and didn't need a "box"0 -

No need to wait, go and check your account online. The calls are usually recorded minutes after you make them0 -
how right you are - logged in last night, and the grand sum of 4p had been taken!

I have had reasonable service from 1899 in Nth London however just tried to sign up for 18866 and was refused due to" lack of capacity " after having gone through sign up procedure- bank details etc. So maybe they need to buy some more space !!0

I've been using 18866 for nearly a year now, and it's saved me loads. But yesterday, I rang a number which is programmed into my phone, including 18866, therefore there was no possibility of misdialling, and was immediately put through to directory enquiries. When I told the person that I had certainly not dialled directory enquiries, she said I must have misdialled, and put double 1 and dialled 118 500. I asked her if I was being charged for the call, and she said yes. I know for a fact that there was NO possibility of me misdialling as the number was on a memory button.
I told all this to my dad on the phone, as he is also on 18866, and he rang me a short while ago to say exactly the same thing had happened to him.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm going to contact BT, but thought I'd try here first to see if anyone else has had this happen.0 -
Hasn't happened to me but if the operator had told you you'd dialed 118866 then I could have belived there was a possibility of you having dialed a 1 before the pre recorded number as 118866 is a directory service. Since she said you'd dialed a different number it does seem a bit odd.0
