I rang America on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to hear that the call was free!! So I double-checked the website and found that calls to USA are free with just the 3 pence connection fee. Great deal imo means I can chat for as long as I want for the grand sum of 3pWhoever said everything was possible obviously hasn't tried slamming a revolving door

I only use 18866 for UK calls. I don't use 1899, and I don't make international calls.
No problems for UK calls in the S London/North Surrey area.
I noticed they put their weekend calls to mobiles up from 2p to 3p recently, though. Oh well, still cheaper than anything else I could use.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -

Hi All,
just subscribed to call18866, and all seems tickety boo.
Just called Southampton and was told the call was free, then after a period of time, not sure how long, getting a beeping on the line - probably started after an hour...
Could be our cordless handset, but is it possible it's a limit on the call length?
Couldn't see anything on the website.?
Thanks in advance

Sound more like your cordless phone needs charging
Never had a beeping when using 18866 and frequently have phone calls last longer than hour!0 -
Can anyone tell me how do you get them announcements about cost of call on. I noticed it was available when I signed up tonight but I turned that option off during signing up process as I thought it would be a nuisance but I am having 2nd thought. I cant see that option in my account details
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -
If you go into your personal details it gives you four options, the third one gives you the option to turn on or off (presumably) the tariff message.
Hope this helps0
