Did anyone go to the Meadowhall store today? I'm thinking about going tomorrow and was just wondering which entrance they were using.
Yes, I went this morning, I would suggest getting there about 9 am and the queue was in the entrance to the lower arcade. They were giving coffee out in the queue as well.0 -
Our branch only allowed us to have 1 item from each table, so got a jewellery set, cufflinks, passport holder, bag of sweets and something else. However... as I was 2nd in the queue, the manager asked the person in front and myself if we were together and we said yes and we had built up a rapport since queuing at 7.45am. The manager said there would be a surprise for us and to wait after we had got our 5 items.
To my amazement he said as we were the 1st ones, we could buy any 1 item in the store up to the value of £50 for 1p!!
I couldnt believe it - I got a lovely linen jacket for £35 as there wasnt anything for £50 and it cost me a 1p.
Dont think this will be happening again though.2008 Club Member: 433
