If you've had your family, given birth etc etc, and you're in a long term relationship, what about Mr Lydia getting the snip? It probably stings, but I should imagine giving birth stings a bit more...so his turn! Or he could get some "socks".
Sorry, didn't answer your question. I don't know too much about it tbh, just what I learnt at (Catholic) school. Unfortunately the underlying message was that having lots of babies was good and that accidents are actually gifts from God. (Though the nuns didn't actually congratulate the two girls who missed their A levels due to morning sickness).0 -
