  • Glam - bit of a disaster - we LOVE spicy food but one impact of recent food poisoning (or maybe just PG) is my tolerance has gone right down :( DH is v disappointed but has said he'd rather cook twice than miss out himself :D I just hope I get my taste back

I've just had a spicey paella for lunch so that's one down ;) might do fajita's tonight for dinner... Problem is DH has been diagnosed with reflux so can't have spicey food bless him - means anything hot I cook I have to cook half mild and half spicey lol oh well
Feeling a little tired so might have a nap when the dog returns from her walk in a few mins... she's been being a pest last couple of days so will be interesting to see what she's been up to
ETA - she's back and has apparently been a model dog! So the dog walker and I are wondering if there has been a significant change in my level of hormones that might be causing her to be nuts around me at home
If that is the case then maybe the baby IS getting close :D

ML - could be pg. I always had a cast iron gut but did get a spot of D&V from a chicken tikka roll.

I had to make my chilli mild yday cos OH worried about the 'toilet' effect when he's in work the next day!

We are having fajitas tonight too!!

MrsT - don't forget your pineapple too!

  • What is it with ppl making comments - why do they feel entitled?! I dislike all the fuss anyway. Had to meet a load of ppl my mum knows at the weekend and I just get sick of all the completely predictable conversations. Suddenly, nothing else about me is relevant or interesting - I'm just a general PG person! even my own fiercely independent mother is getting as bad - introducing me as daughter who will shortly be making her a grandmother, even though in the context in which I met these ppl, there were far more relevant introductions!

Ooh, Glam, and I hate it too when ppl say don't you look tired. apparently Thatcher used to do that to cabinet ministers at 2 in the morning. It just kind of subtly undermines you.

    Sorry, rant over!

Shall I pre-order the new Liverpool away shirt for hubby? He has the red one I think... Well... He has 2 red ones... Sure one of them is the current one... But he did mention getting last years away for his birthday but I had other things in mind... Only thing is the cost... Especially if I have Torres put on the back for him... Very unsure really... But he did buy me the isplodge...

I keep getting comments as well! Must be something in the air...
Friday night I walked past a guy i barely know and he said "bl00dy H3ll ,you must be about ready to pop"

and then Saturday we went to see what baby stuff there was in TK Maxx and a lady came past and said "ooo, how far gone are you?", i toldher 23 weeks and she said " G0d, you're MASSIVE!!!"....I nearly turned back to her and said and you're a minging chav!!!

    Grrrrr...
