ooh I forgot my Qu from last night!

Anyone know if I got a kingsize divan bed with 4 storage drawers (2 on each side) would it come as one whole piece??
If it does it wouldn't fit up the stairs you see so I'd need to go for a flat pack jobby

:mad:I am really sorry that my last few posts on here have been very whiney but I am getting so !!!!!! off with the NHS. As per earlier post I was in a couple of times over the weekend and told that I would be booked in for another consultants appointment to try and bring forward the C section. I called the unit as instructed to find out my appointment and the woman in charge today has just said that she cant see the point in this and that any earlier will endanger baby!! !!!!!!!! I am getting very upset and angry at how useless they are. The lef tand right hand dont seem to know that each other exist. :mad:

Sorry but its really starting to get to me now. Am going to try and get OH sent home.

Mine came in 2 sections, but you should be able to check this with the place you ordered from ( I had to call tesco direct as if it was 1 peice it wouldnt have fitted up my stairs )

I got a double divan (without drawers thou) for spare room and it came in 2 sections that clip together underneath with a metal u shaped thingy.

ML - that list would be useful for me too. Though the batch cooking is a definite as OH can't cook so I'll be starving!!

Tickle - why don't you ask to speak to the unit manager or sister in charge and demand some sense? dOn't worry about whining - it's what we are here for

Sami - 2 sections would seem likely to me... probably a lot of houses and flats would struggle with 1 piece and also makes sense from a manufacturing perspective (though of course I don't actually know!)

We had to bring our sofa in using scaffolding (sitting room on first floor) cos it wouldn't fit up the stairs!

Batch cooking was def one of them (DH is good cook and was in particular humph about that one) but there were others. Watch this space!

tickle - sometimes if you get the consultant to phone for you, they can use their authority to scare them into getting you an appt. I would go back to the consultant and tell them what the hospital said. also you can try phoning back when you know the evil woman won't be there and try to get someone else to book you in? don't worry about whinging to us - that's what we're here for!
