I'm here but not for long!
We did our nursery yesterday - should have painted it myself as it def needs a 2nd coat. 2 guys - rushing and missing bits, looks all blotchy. Didn't want to put 2nd coat on but will have to so it will be even brighter now
Left In laws doing my skirting boards, radiator, door and blind - furniture not going in there until June so will post a pic once it's finished.
Good luck Claire

Sugar - I don't think there are any supermarkets that do nursing vests, possibly Asda do, if they do they'll be on the asda george website as not all stores do the maternity range. MFD who is now on the parent thread recommends the mothercare ones tho0 -

I must admit that whilst some medical receptionists do resemble 'dogs with a bone' it's not always their fault!
I have 3 people constantly answering the phone and dealing with patients on the desk - it takes one awkward patient to tie some up for 15 minutes and then others have to wait.
This morning our computer system was down, I was at another site, my deputy doesn't work a Tuesday and the other IT person was off sick. Some GP's refuse to see patients without all the notes in front of them so the girls are trying to sort that out, THEN a patient has died and 1 person is trying to sort it out which can take ages dealing with relatives, funeral homes, getting death certificate and she's supposed to be on the phone!
Oh yeah and a poor women who is soooo worried about her baby she has insisted on seeing 4 different doctors

annoying as the automated phone thing is at least you can pick from prescriptions/emergencies/appointments etc so once your in position #1 you speak to someone v quickly0 -
The receptionists at my docs are pure evil! I'm sure you're not like that Glam...I'm sure you're lovely!!!:D0

Hey, I'm da Boss!!! I get face ache when I ever have to cover on reception from smiling too much and being ridiculously helpful! I started off as a receptionist many moons ago..............................
I have to keep them in line and remind them to smile and be nice even when snotty patients are telling them that they pay their wages!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
