a little update from me, still in hospital and taken me nearly 3 hrs to catch up - the joys of patientline! blood pressure still too high so won;t let me go home. consultant will be round in morning to look at either medication or induction but mw think possible induction as i;m so close to edd. usually i'm fighting sleep by 9 but tonight when i should be making the most of it i can't sleep at all, think i'm really missing home, dh and ds1. this is the first night ever that i've been away from ds1 and its really strange. Will try to update you all tomorrow and get some sleep in the meantime!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Btw, I need a full report back on facilities at DPOW!0 -
got a feeling that as long as they aren't too busy and I don't resist it then I'll be induced. I'm on blueberry team what about you elle? I'm really impressed with the building, all rooms are en suite with only a couple of twin rooms but they only seem to be used for quick observations or if really busy. tests seem to take ages to come back and I've been left to myself all day so a bit lonely but at least we're safe if anything happens. I've heard a few baby cries which makes me want my babies but I'll have to wait!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

My weekend:
Well i eventually went into hospital the night before last. BP went to 156/96 and baby decided it didnt want to be monitored, which scared the midwife as she couldnt find a heart beat after 15 mins of looking. Baby was fine just moved each time she approached with the monitoring pad, so we could see from the outside that baby was moving well. But I got a scan just so she could make sure. Dr prescribed me Tamazepam to help me sleep and codein for the daytime. Got home at 2.30am yesterday morning, then recieved a phone call at 3am telling me to come back again later on for BP monitoring and collect more tamazepam. I had suggested that my BP was much higher than it had ever been before but ho hum. Went in again after lunch yesterday and lovely male midwife is booking me in to see a consultant this week to try and bring forward by C section date!! Yay!
Unfortunately codeine just makes me zone out, but still in pain, and as you may be able to tell the tamazepam wears off quickly. I went to bed at 11 and have been up since 4.30am catching up on everything I have missed. So am going to bring ths up with the consultant, also feeling a bit nauseous this morning.
