Same here Claire, hope things go smoothly and as naturally as possible for you (Unless you want all the drugs, in which case fill your boots
)

Morning all -
am SO not ready for another week at work! really busy weekend, but we managed to do the seas scene on the nursery wall, will post a pic if someone can tell me how to do it?
Am really pleased with the result but was not exactly the joint effort I imagined... Suffice to say DH, despite being a bit of a perfectionist in 'his' areas of 'expertise' not only had no patience to do the painting properly but also refused to take any advice! Cue lots of 'rescue jobs' on his contributionsLuckily we had a bit of the emulsion left from the main paint job :rolleyes: But I'm really pleased with the result. Just hope Cub doesn't tell us she doesn't like it and can she have it all pink when she learns to talk
Was a bit worried over weekend as I seemed to pick up some mild food poisoning from a milkshake in York... for 48 hours I had quite strong stromach cramps and diarrhoea (no vomiting though) and was worried about effect on Cub. Anyone know if I should be concerned? We checked the HB yesterday and found it after a very long and slightly anxious wait (it seemed fine). Am not usually an anxious person but I was thinking her immune system is a lot less robust than mine...
I have a doc's appt today to secure the referral to the midwife-led unit in another PCT so I could raise it, but don't want to be the over-anxious first timer if you know what I meanMFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold! :rolleyes:

Morning ladies!
Quick and painless labour vibes to those in need of them and good health vibes to those who want them.
I have a question - are there any supermarkets selling nursing vests, and how much are they? Since I'm not in the UK I can't make the trips around the supermarkets myself and don't want to send my poor mother hiking across every supermarket within reach if they're not selling them.
My finger slipped on ebay last night and I now own five nursing bras. That's more than enough, right?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

When I got pregnant with our son (unplanned) OH said mostly out of shock "What are we gonna do?" and my reaction was "Well I don't know about you but I'm having a baby" I'm sure he was just in shock as he later married me and noe we're having another (planned) but in my mind if you get pregnant you just deal with it and all being well have the baby.
I sincerely hope ur OH comes around to the idea but if not it sounds like your mum will be there to support you so you won't be alone it in - Good Luck xx0
