I'm now having trouble getting a disconnection date for my O2 mobile. Can you guess where I got it from?!!!!!!
Here we go again!0 -
espresso wrote:Why haven't you cancelled your DD?
Because I don't want debt collectors on my back - like when O2 continued charging after I disconnected; they advised cancelling the DD and they referred the account to collection. Never again.
I'd rather pay them and then sue for it back.0 -

Sadly it's not just this company. Having similar farcical fiasco with Sky.
Back to TT:
If this helps, I've had a response from an escalations department.
I find that composing a letter and cutting and pasting every single email that's been batted backwards and forwards helps to show them how stupid they look. Have been offered a £10 cheque for the phone side of things.
Good luck all.0 -
ok going through this forum and the one on ADSLGuide these idiots have started taking people to court for non-payment of errr...... no broadband. My bills havent stopped either and i've now received 2 letters from their credit control dept. On the phone they said they couldnt do anything its Customer Services who should sort it out, and i'm not even gonna bother ringing up again, 3 times is enough for me. I'm not having my credit rating spoiled by these TickTock people, if they do, I'm gonna sue through small claims. Also wrote into Watchdog at the weekend.0

I am having a similar problem now. I left TT on the 19th June for Nildram. Was billed for the full month until the 10th July just before leaving. Not a problem I thought, I will get a credit the next month. WRONG!! They have billed me for another month now!! Are they just thick or chancers?
Obviously, I am about to cancel the DD but what is my best method of complaining and getting this money refunded? Phone them, email Mr Dunstone or someone else? God, I am glad I have left these jokers!:mad:0 -
When I left them, I made sure I cancelled the direct debit, good job they kept trying to bill me 3 or 4 months later for a service I no longer had, had threats of taking me to court and debt collectors, they are a dreadful company. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

I may just have to write off the overpayment from last month but they certainly won't get the amount on the bill received today thats for sure! I am at this moment typing a long letter to Dunstone, probably won't do any good but will make me fell better:mad:0
