    What a nightmare!

Got the world's arsiest cancellation rep - Spent an hour on the phone where he accused me of lying, not having the text message (which I read to him complete with exact date and time and he STILL said I "didn't have it") and then telling me to refrain from profanity when I hadn't used any?!

Had to keep reiterating 10.1d a lot and he was trying to bog me down in conversation but finally got it cancelled for July 2nd!

Thanks guys, disappointed though, going abroad travelling for 3 months in a couple of weeks and I genuinely would've found 3 Like Home useful!

Tbh your best bet is to cancel altogether and get a PAC code, then start a SIM only deal with 3, or someone else. They probably won't offer you much to make it worth staying.

They offered me the £10 per month reduction after 5 minutes so I just accepted that. So now I am getting 500 Mix and Match for £7 and my phone rental is £9.

    I'm happy enough with that.
  • Had our first final bill in after cancelling and it is "Normal" - a bill the equivalent of a couple of weeks which is correct. No attempt to charge us the remainder of our contract. The second bill is due in a few days.

I am almost ready to heave the collective sigh of relief.:p
  • I phoned this morning to ask about the final bill and both are normal. No sign of an ETF.

I phoned a few days ago to check and all was well for me also.

My G1 costs me £23 /month and is on a 12 month contract, so it is a much lower cost overall.

Where did you get this deal from ? Thats a great price for a 12m contract, was the phone free ? :j

I cannot cancel originally rang last Wednesday about 10 times as kept being cut off, tried again Friday, Saturday, Monday and today and each time keep getting excuses.

Today they say as I rang last week I have agreed to the changes and even then only certain people can cancel.

    What can I do?

    Hi all,

I think that even if they have removed the 3 Like home services. customers who are on 3 and use international roaming services would still benefit from them as they have the lowest international roaming charges...can always compare them and surely they are the best....

    regards.

    Hi all
I am a newbie to the site so please be gentle. Just thought I would regale you all with my tales of horror regarding three. I am at the end of my 18 month contract with three during which time I have received appalling customer service, poor network coverage and generally bad product knowledge whenever ringing up for a query. However I waited it out til the end of my contract and have now requested a PAC code. I have now rang them a grand total of 9 yes you did read that correctly NINE times and was first given the hard sell; I made it clear that I wasnt interested in this and now each time I ring I am told that there is a problem in generating my PAC code but that they are working on it. I have spoke to about 11 different operators including two managers and spent in total about 5 hours on the phone to them. They always promise to ring back by the end of the day but never do and this is still ongoing. Apologies for the long post just wondered if anyone else had any experience in what to do next I would just get a new number but I have had this one for quite a long time.
