If you use "3 like home" read this- possible reason to cancel??

i called this morning and after a surprisingly short call of only half an hour (15 mins of which i was on hold !) i have been set to change to PAYG on the 27th june . woohoo.

Turning point of the call was when he stated i couldnt cancel because my account wasnt flagged as being effected as i hadnt used the service in the past. I asked him how his computer could possibly know what holidays I had planned for this year, the silence followed by "err i just need to put you on hold" was quite amusing.

big thanks to op and all who contribute to this thread but also to diamonds and rev-henry. we were in the same boat a few months back with the min billing fiasco only last time i was unsuccessful in cancelling.

ive looked around for a new contract but nothing tops my current phone and price so will go PAYG till my wants meet my budget.

Now I'm free of three anyone know of any good deals out there as I've got my pac code sent through or should I of gone payg until I find a good deal

No problem mishka. Might I suggest, though, that instead of going to PAYG you get a PAC and port out to another network PAYG? That way you get shot of 3 potentially within 2 days, rather than waiting a month.

Today I got the second of 2 unlock codes. The phones have transferred across to another network today so we are officially shot of Three. Now if only I had looked into the Vodaphone summer promotion before I joined T-Mobile. Luckily its only a sim only contract and we can get out at any time.
