If you use "3 like home" read this- possible reason to cancel??

So, I should call OFCOM and get a reference number, and port my number to another network? Then if 3 decide in 30 days after my final invoice that they want to charge me £300, I give them my OFCOM reference and tell them where to stick it?

Nope call OFCOM get reference & call 3 Executive Office - your telling them you have a OFFICIAL complaint with OFCOM reference, you want you PAC & ETF waived is your complaint & you are being denied such and thats breach number 2 of your T&C after 3LikeHome removal.

OK thanks, will do. I will post how it goes. Does anybody have a copy of the terms from December 2008, or are they the same as in June 08?

Terms that matter are April's that when the change was to PROMOTION, any change in DEC would have had to been communicated to us 3 customers as per our T&C within 30 days, them 30 days started on for some customers on 15/5/09 - way past 30 days requirement from DEC 2008 as 3 are stating to us - let us know how you go

Called OFCOM who are blissfully unaware of everything and no help at all but got a reference number and OTELO's phone number who say if after 12 weeks I am not satisfied and I have proof I have used the service (would 3 send me a copy bill from June 08?) they will gladly take on the case. Do I try to port away from 3 using my PAC or not?

I've just called them and cancelled my contract it will finish on the 27th june .The customer service bloke said i will not get any early termation charges ,my contract finishes in september anyway but what will happen if they do charge me all be it 2 and a half months at £20 a month?

I'm in the same position as you, and I called back today (got ETF waived on 20th May) just to check they had done what they said, and they confirmed it for me. If they do try and charge you call back and tell them. Also try and record calls if you can, so you can prove they said there was no ETF.

I wasnt that bothered about trying to cancel it but they offered me an upgrade which would of started in september for 18 months I'd get the phone now a nokia e71 for £20 a month but i turned it down saying i could walk into any 3 store and get that deal.

UPDATE:

I am in contact with a friend of friend who is within their 14 day upgrade period & due to 3LH they are returning said unused upgrade, now the box is still sealed and THREE are still distributing "The Small Print" DATED July 2008 !!!

I just got it dropped off to me 2 mins ago.

This is getting seriously shady on 3's part now. Is there anything about this you don't know diamonds!? Do you have spies in the callcentres or something?
