Knowing 3 they will try and imply if you never had ROAMING activated they will refuse the 3LH clause to get fee free termination, but given roaming can be activated at any point and 3LH became a "PROMO" on 9/4 YOU can all leave anyway

OFCOM & 3EXEC OFFICE your complaints everyone if INDIA is refusing FEE FREE CANCELLATION, India are stalling customers with " you have not used 3LH" or " its a Promotion", yes from 9/4 its a promotion YOU were a CURRENT customer before 9/4

in all honesty its "customer options" job to keep you, apart from being dishonest they should do whatever to keep you 3, but lying about the "promotion" or dates should not be one of them ways to KEEP you 3
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    Diamonds, thanks for the clarification.

I have sent them a message and follow up email saying that I want to cancel without penalty. My accounts were opened last August and september (2 Phones and 1 Wireless Broiadband). At this point I have just asked to cancel one of the phones.

cancel them all LOL, plenty of monthly sim only offers

o2 - texts from abroad are charged as 4 texts from your UK plan allowances - massive savings ! ;)

Orange let you connect to wifi to connect to Orange and your charged via allowances/home rates ;) Orange Unique, handy with a Blackberry, switch network off, connect to wifi, comes out you allowances to call/text UK !

I'd have though any change in pricing structure would be a formal change of contract terms - whether those changes are brought due to EU law or whether a free offering is eing withdrawn, it still has a 'value' attached to it (ie, if those free inclusive minutes are now going to cost customers xp then that is a fundamental change in the contract pricing.

    .

    ABSOLUTELY CORRECT

Under UK contract law, change of SERVICE to "PROMOTION" requires 30 days notice to party of contract, EU is happy that 3UK allow you to call home from 3Italy INCLUSIVE, EU are fighting the greedy corporations with CAPS.....thats where you know its a Hutchison decision, perhaps influenced by the EU ( losing revenue 3 ? ) but its NOT an EU ruling so 3 have no legal position to keep you in contract as UK/EU law is not enforcing 3LH be dropped...EU is promoting/enforcing cheaper calls, 3 are refusing to honour 3LH & allow you to leave and communicating such via 3 internet on your handset - 3 Global Services India are refusing to allow this to happen !

Why ? Loss of 3UK customers = loss of jobs..........

BST mate. Someone had uploaded that file from 3's mobile site as a PDF which was quite nice to look at lol. Had a search on the net tonight out of interest and this seemed to be the only open place discussing it.

    http://www.three.co.uk/sdf/3lhactive1

what the hell are 3 playing at ? two sets of rules !

one for pre 09/04, one for after 09/04 I assume.
