It's weird I feel kind of lost as I didn't/couldn't weigh in last weekend. I'm looking forward to weighing in on Saturday no matter what the result.

I hate missing my weigh in. Couldn't resist jumping on the scales after steam room just to check, not that it matters as it's all fluid u lose. My good day has gone to pot, just had an iced donut for dessert. Ah well, can't win em all.
    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j

just had an ainsley risotto for tea - lush nut not very slimming world! worked it out as 8 syns on green plus 5 for the butter that goes in it. Jsut as well I hadn't had any others today! got a party booking for my business today through word of mouth which i'm really chuffed about! so all in all, a good day. don't be down mazza - by being good during the day you earned that donut.

Sorry I missed your weigh in for this week. Which page did you post it on? Because I accidental missed your post, I took it you had not posted this week and hence why you did not appear on the chart. Let me know your weigh in and I will alter Raph's chart or if not will let her know about the alterations.

Missy: I think if I did it every week, then the whole issue would not have come up. i.e. you know who is and who is not on the chart. It was a case because I was doing it for Raph I wanted to make sure I did it correctly...and hence did my best not to miss anyone off who should have been on.

Hi, well I had my very first weigh in last night and I'm pleased to report a 1 1/2 lbs Loss but at the same time I was disappointed as I had tracked so well and kept to just below my alloted points.
The thing I'm wondering is.....I joined at teatime last Thursday so as a last fling I had half a biiiiig bar of Galaxy on Wed night and the other half on Thurs during the day....do you reckon I also had to lose the pound I prob put on after eating that? So I maybe really lost 2 1/2?

My Hubby DoubleDee, big show off that he is..... Lost 3 1/2 lbs............hmmmmmmmmmmph....it's me that's doing all the planning and feeding him you know!!:rotfl:
You'll make my day if I know I've been helpful to you in some small way,
so please press my :T thanks :Tbutton x

Hi Leogoehan, welcome. You've done really well so far, and being here can only help you along the way. Plenty of us have/had several stones to shift, and it seems that the slowly but surely way is the most effective.

    - stick with the plan you've been doing, and you will surely see a steady progress. It is nice to get a big kick-start when you begin a weightloss plan, but you can also find that after the first week or so you struggle to lose the next few pounds. A steady loss of 1-2lb a week will see you half a stone lighter in a month, so it all does add up. If you want to try upping the amount of exercise you do, that can certainly give it a good kick too. Make sure you're not under eating by too much, as your body tends to hold on to it's stores very effectively. It's quite well-known that men do tend to lose weight fairly quickly once they set their mind to it. If your hubby is several inches taller than you though, it's all balanced out in the end. I do think that men can really focus on the task of weightloss better than us women, but perhaps that's because they don't always have to have the job of meal planning.

Victory - I know money is tight for you, but my BF and I have just invested in some Maximuscle Promax bars, as both of us hate to eat junk food, or get caught out by making bad food choices outside the home. I keep a couple in my handbag, and that means that we know we can have a low GI,high protein, balanced and nutritious 'meal' in a handy bar, and they're just over 200cals each. They're usually £2 from Superdrug each, but we've bought them by the box, and they work out at about £1.05 each, and they'll last us for months. When we were out last weekend we both really would have preferred to have them, rather than resort to snacking on cake, which gave me the huge sugar dip, which then gave me knock on effects for 3 days afterwards. As we both eat them I'll work the cost of them into our weekly shop budget.

I spent a really lovely day out in the garden yesterday. I've thinned out all my seedlings, and planted out some bedding plants. I've got my tomato plants getting stronger by the day, and I'm still avoiding digging over the patch of grass that's designated to be my vegetable patch! Hard work has been far too common in my life this year. My BF and I sat in the peaceful fading light yesterday evening, and said how lovely it was coming along. We've got a 'messy' end of the garden that we plan to sort out tomorrow.

    Food was good yesterday:
    B - honeynut shredded wheat
L - tuna sandwich on wholemeal/wholewheat hula hoops
    D - 3 egg omlette w/bacon & side veggies

I resisted any snacking or treats yesterday, and it felt good to stay busy and not be thinking about food.

I hope today is the same!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
