Raph - you seem to have a natural talent for running, you definitely have a decent turn of speed! Even if I gave it everything I've got I know I couldn't do a 2hr half marathon. Hope you enjoyed your long run :)

Will we be reviewing Q2 objectives on here soon? ;)

ooh missy, well remembered... bb shuffles off to try and desparately rememever what hers were:D.

Mazza - my s-in-l recently got stuckon a plateau for a few months after losing several stone. She tried changing what she ate - ie her body had got in a rut and over familiar with what she ate, even though it was healthy stuff. She particulalry has changed her breakfasts from ceral to more rotein and the change has done the trick. There was nothing wrong with what she was eating before, indeed she had lost 2+ stone, but the change re kickstarted her metabolism. HTH

i so fell off the wagon over the weekend! my excuse is that i was rather anxious - this weekend was the weekend i finally made the decision that I'm going to change re-enactment groups and go to a bigger group where i don't have to be responsible for things. so i was anxious about telling the current group and then relieved having told them - and factoring in totm too! Anyway, was very good all last week, really bad last 2 days so i think i will deserve a gain. Anyway, day one today!

    wow bails! it'll be fab!

  • THINK i'm going to be MIA for a few days as I've moved out of my house due to having a MOUSE (or mice knowing my luck!!) I really REALLY don't like them! Left home at 3.30am Sunday morning after hearing then spotting it running about my bedroom floor. :(:(:( I had them at my last house after the drains were dug up. Can't believe I've got another one. There's a trap down, so once its been clear for a few days I'll be back home, at the moment I'm sleeping on my friends couch. I know its stupid to be frightened of a mouse, & I get annoyed with myself for it, but they make me feel sick when you see them fleeing about or hear them scratching at things. I've been so tense that i can hardly open my jaw now, I've made the TMJ much worse worrying about it, Grr. I'll try & weigh in tomorrow, just depends what we're doing. Hope everyone had a nice weekend & glad granny's doing better. :) xxx

Thanks so much for all the good wishes.:D:D:D

I'm feeling almost back to normal -- just a bit wobbly but being in school there are loads of people to pick me up if I fall. I just avoided being in the playground as the slight wobble might lead parents to believe that I was intoxicated. Nothing could be further from the truth - the thought of alcohol is extremely unappealing at the moment.

Sounds as if lots of sensible 'looking after yourself' decisions are being made at the moment ..... and isn't that what this is all about? Losing weight, for most of us, is a massive (;))looking after ourselves decision too.

KPC - don't forget to keep us up to date with your re-enactment appearances, please.

i remember one night my parents had gone out and i was a home alone. I saw this mouse run from the tv right round and into the kitchen, few seconds later i heard this massive snap. I was like oh my god the mouse has been caught. When i had a look it had only trapped its nose! I knocked on my next door neighbours and he disposed of it for me ha. Didnt have a clue what to do!

Granny: I can just imagine!! All the mums going beserk thinking youve been drinking. Funny times.

Bails: Youre more adventurous than me! I cant fly more than 3 hours ha.

I dunno where im going yet folks, will do soon though hopefully!

    hi guys n gals

i dont know if any of you will remember me, from a very long time ago, i started to eat right and exercise and like every other time before, i stopped visiting and soon stopped exercising.

well im 4 months into a new house, and have decided i really need to do this because i feel so low, so out of shape about myself.

so ive joined the local gym.

been going on and off for a few weeks (while having mouth probs/dentists visits that make it too painful to go)

    so tonight i start again!

i want to know if you can help me out.

Me wise, BMI 28, just over 14 stone. Apple shaped beer belly!

36 waist, although can wear some 34's

    Food wise, im back to

    Breakfast Shredded Wheat in morning.

3 slices of malted brown bread, usually with Tuna & pepper (nothing else) or some sort of wafter thin turkey slices and salads.

Dinners - usually some sort of quorn or lean turkey mince, with veg, or beans, or peas etc.

    Gym wise.

    monday/wednesday/friday - Cardio days

10 mins warmup on Cross Trainer
    Stretch
    10 mins on Cross Trainer
    Stretch
    20 mins on Bike
    Stretch
20 mins on Treadmill, walking at 4.5 for 3 mins, running at 7.0 for 2 mins intervals.

    Tuesday/Thursday wieght days
Circuits of 3 sets of 12 reps.

Wondering if i kept this up for a few weeks solid, would i notice improvements?

my major issue is my eating, im a very emotional eater/drinker.

Thanks again and sorry for the long post.
