Feeling loads better --- but I might have a slight relapse on Monday morning so as to get maximum sympathy mileage at work --- and have been gardening and cleaning all day. So - must have been a personality transplant as well as wobbly ears. NOT vodka Vix, in fact have to abstain for a week or so until really sure this has gone.

And yes Vix - where are you going?

Thanks FFM, yes it is very exciting! We're spending 5 months in Nepal then travelling home overland through Tibet, China, Mongolia, Russia etc. I've wanted to do this trip for SOO long - it was what kept me going throughout my illness - and can't quite believe it's actually happening!! WOOP WOOP! :D

Hi all, hope everyone had a good weekend.

BB - £82 is a very good price on ebay for your bike (must have been a really posh one :D) Great to hear you are feeling happy with the way you look in photos!!!

Hope you have a great hol Victory!

FeeFeeDee you've lost nearly half a stone in a month!!! That is a fantastic loss regardless of what anyone else is doing - aren't you happy with it?

How are you feeling now Granny?

Wonderful news Bails, good luck with your adventure! It is great to see everything's worked out so well! You deserve it!!!

I won't bother posting up my usual exercise summary. It was a little down on the previous week, but I still managed 30km jogging, 10km inline skating, a nice hike, plenty of general walking and some cycling :)

When I compared my intake/activity/result from the last two months in my last post, I forgot to mention that I had changed from 3 meals a day (and small snacks), to 6 evenly-spaced smaller meals a day. Perhaps this could be at least partly the reason for the much better result?

Have to say, the new eating routine suits me perfectly and I love it. It has been all positive and I can't think of a single drawback :D I just hope the results continue because I don't want to change it now!

Good luck this week peeps :)

I believe it was a decent bike missy - though i didn't realise it at the time I bought it: a mid 80's Dawes touring bike. I was very fond of it so it is quite a move forward to finally get rid.
Today sees the ongoing work to declutter and & switch rooms - I think this may take another couple of months as I am working quite slowly. But it is slowly slowly getting done. Today i hope to continue painting the smaller room which is to become our bedroom. Decided to do the same sage green as our living space as choosing colours can tie me up in knots of indecision and I had some left over. I can just accessorize differntly. Apart from a 3 year spell 12 yrs ago, this will be only the second time in my adult life that I have had a separate bedroom to my living area so feels a big change.

At the S 0f E show on Saturday I got a great freeby - a book on using up leftovers. So we had leftovers curry yesterday and it was quite good, and wonderfully frugal of course so big pat on the back there. I do find it hard sometimes to ballance being frugal with weight loss.
    Great loss vixstar.
Well done missy on continued fine tuning of your food intake vs weight gain/loss.
Great run raph - how are you finding your new toy?
Granny - hope you feel lots better today, though stil able to curry deserved sympathy from school.
Beanie - is the 3 leg stick helping you not to fall over so much?
Vix - where yous going? And is this on top of Cornwall?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

STS for me this week, starting to get annoyed with myself, that's only 2pounds loss in the whole of june!!! Have less than 2 months left to lose 1 stone 12 pounds. Have got to that stage where I'm really struggling now. Time to get the old skipping rope out i guess.
    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j
