Hopefully it is done correctly. Sheer respect to Raph who does this every week.

Missy: Thanks for letting me know about that. It was a case of I was not sure since you highlighted the figures.

dmv: Glad to hear that everything is ok and right.

thanks for the good wishes, just got to get oh on board. we had a big chat and i explained to him how i feel about it - i've always wanted a nice kitchen, and if i lived on my own then i would be going for it. I don;t want to resent him for holding me back, but i also don't want to ride roughshod over him. I think he's kicking back a bit on the whole provider thing - although he'd never admit it, his pride may be a bit wounded that i can do it and still support us whilst he fights to get his business on his feet. On reflection, I may have picked a bad time to make the announcement - he's jsut taken another kick as he's had to cancel a show this weekend - travellers have moved onto the site and are not moving. i don't do myself any favours in that i decide i want to do something and before he's even turned around i've researched, planned and gone ahead. anyway we've agreed that i won't do anything without speaking to the builder friend and showing him the paperwork from the bank - he used to be an ifa so he says he know all the tricks which is dead helpful. In return, he has to not get a face on and rule it out because it will cost money(cos I'm funding it) and rule it out because he thinks it'll be too disruptive without really looking into it.

    so result!

Sorry, I should have realised this might cause confusion - I've always highlighted it but I'll do my best to get out of the habit (and if I remember I'll also state that it's 'not for the chart'). I know the chart peeps have enough to do without needing to check with people individually :)

I'll carry on highlighting my exercise results instead ;):D

Didn't manage the full 2750 cals yesterday, but got up to 2596 (for a net of 1018), which is an improvement. It'll take another day to see if that's affected my weight any differently than usual :)

I only know this cos i tried on my skirt from top shop this morning and it had the UK/US size in it and my size 12 skirt said US size 8. Its like their size 0 is our size 4 isnt it. I dunno.

Matt has his assessment in the middle of july but he has this preview thing for it in about 2 weeks time. Im excited :D He needs to work on some things to prepare himself but he should do fine.

I will try some couscous soon polka, i like the idea its a rich mans food. Might make me more fab and all that.

    Good team work KPC!

    Hi chaps,
flying visit, because I want to get out into the garden before I get rained on - again! Yesterday I got soaked, but worse still, so did both my mobile phones, which sat out in the rain for 3 hours! thankfully a night in the airing cupboards seems to have resolved matters, and both are working OK today.

I'm dead excited because I noticed a little blue tit bird sat on the perch of our nesting box, and he/she was chirruping away, which I think was their way of announcing them moving into their new home. It will be great to watch them while we're sat in the garden (she said optimistically hoping for warm weather).

I got the 'box' frame for my raised veg bed made yesterday. It looks like a bit of a lash up job, but I'm recycling timber we already have, and it's what's going to go inside it that matters.

I've been a good girl this morning and really resisted the urge I had to have biscuits with my tea. I've just had some cereal, and am about to have a sandwich before I set to work. I need to up my physical activity again to have an impact on any weightloss.

Vix - the conversion chart says the US 8 is a UK 10, but I think it may be a generous 10, more of a 12 on the bottom if my backside got into it! I'll need to have my top half 'bound' if it's ever to fit in, but I'll hang on to it to use as a guage and see if that zipper goes up any further in the months to come.

Right, I'm off... I've just watched the men's underpants review on This Morning on ITV and I now feel more than happy to tackle the days events!

Have a good day guys, and think slim!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

im worth it - welcome aboard, let us know about your highs and lows. The support you get here is great and gives you great encouragement. I've still got about 2 stones to lose. So you're roughly at my starting point. And seeing things like SOTW next to your name gives you that nice feeling that makes you want to continue :rotfl:

Good day for me today, not had the urge to eat anything naughty yet. Nightmare at work though, a factory went on fire, so all the roads round about me have been closed, which meant i had to drive into the next town to double back, drove about 5 miles instead of my normal 1  I need my car for work or i would have walked (honestly), we aren't even allowed to walk the short way for fear of canisters exploding. The poor people here will be lucky to get any mail today, never mind getting it at a decent time. So after finishing an hour late, I'm gonna sit on my fat a$$ and do nothing for the rest of the day! :o
