DMV:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::D for tomorrow
ragz can you post the 0 points WW soup please? Made the veg one...disgusting, made an asian one revolting, made a bean one in the bin, not very good at making soups me thinks:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I like Granny's new weightloss programme - get your kitchen and all it's contents ripped out, so you can't prepare or eat food! Rather drastic, but as we can all see, it has dramatic, and positive results. I was thinking, will the cement mixer be a permanent feature, almost as one-up-manship on the pull out larder unit, with bins methinks. Fancy making your porridge in that?
Well, food has been a bit up/down. The day was disjointed, and food was partly on the hoof.
B - toast, eaten in the car taking son to the Dr. for emergency appt. for his foot
L - seasame bagel with cheese & pickle toasted
D - chunky soup & toast
Snacks - half a bounty bar, packet of frazzles, 1 oat biscuit, 2 choc digestives!
yup, TOTM is here, and I became a carb/choc demon for the day. Partially redeemed by a low cal dinner. Feel hungry now, so hope that helped.
Off out with my neice tomorrow to test drive cars - yay! I love cars. She's only 19 and scared of salesmen, personally, anything with a pulse is a bonus for me!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
VICTORY - 4 cakes? This is a slimming thread! Thanks for all the birthday wishes.
RAGZ - I too would be interested in the tomato no points soup recipe please!
Have just watched a video to do with childrens services and am feeling really inspired at the minute. Im so glad I am doing a general education and child development degree as oppossed to pigeon holing myself with a straight teaching degree. I will apply for my pgce to become a primary school teacher which I think I would love but there are so many different jobs around children and part of me thinks I would love a more hands on job working with families and their children. Forget bed...Im off to google the hell out of job descriptions!
Was any of that on topic for this thread?!Oh yeah tomato soup. Phew.0 -

Morning off to get my hair cut and eyebrows done for the big wedding next saturday, strangely excited:rotfl::rotfl:you see they don't let me out often and when they do I get excited:rotfl: anyway the hairdresser is a great gossip so she will have me laughing while I am there:D
It turns out next month if TOTM stays the same that it will be the 1st day of my hols:rolleyes: no, not on anything to stop it like the pill, how lucky can one person get:D
Sold enrique last night, for £20 less:rolleyes:what is wrong with me and trying to make some money:rotfl:took a loss on the wii a loss on the ticket:rolleyes: one day I will be able to afford things:D
Had to explain to little one that we are not in debt as he went to school told them we had sold the wii and they said that if your mum and dad were selling the wii the next thing to go would be the house and you would have to sit on the street, kids love them but couldn't eat a whole one:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Knew it was coming but it's worse than I thought - monthly result is a gain of 4lb  Of which 2.6lb is body fat so it's not quite as bad as it looks! There was also an element of 'loading up' yesterday for today's long run, which didn't help
I've stepped up not only the hours of exercise in the last month (from 7 to 10 hours weekly), but also the effort as I'm now training for two serious targets. I increased daily calories by 150/day but I have a feeling this wasn't enough to support the extra and I'm into fat store mode again - I've seen it all before
I will lose a minimum of 2lb body fat by next time and I think I know what I need to do - will mull it over while I'm out today. The good news is I'm still just about within my target range - phew!!!
Have a good day everyone!0 -
We are doomed again:rolleyes: Abbey OH account £1.36 p OD did not know obviously and now Abbey says they are going to charge £60 for it:eek: £60 for being OD £1.36 can't believe it, put it on the bank thread on here see if someone knows if they can be allowed to charge that amount and to add insult they give you an 0845 number to call them on, oh no I say so went to get the freephone number:D0
-
yowch victory! thats a bit harsh. hope you get a result0
-
VICTORY - thats a horrendous charge! I have kicked up a fuss with halifax once and they removed £120 of charges but that was my first and only bank charge with them so thats why they said they would remove it, but its definitely worth giving them a ring (on the free number!) and hopefully you will get someone human and nice who will do their best for you.
Thanks for the happy birthdays everyone. I am going to have a celebratory bacon sarnie with the thick lovely butchers bacon and will wake OH up with one as well (he worked till 6am) as I had a bunch of flowers so big that it has taken up all my decent size vases, I've had to cut them right down to fit in the little decorative ones and I'm even using sangria jugs! A total of nine vases scattered about with flowers in now! He also got the dog to carry a mummy birthday card to me when he came to bed which was (silly!) but lovely as she knows us as mummy and daddy and goes mad when you say the words. Right am gonna go do happy stuff now before I start on the broody stuff!
Oh dinner wont be healthy tonight at all. Oh well!0
