This will make you laugh, remember when I posted that the kids next door had pulled the heads off my tulips and I asked their dad politely if it could stop and he went off his nut, we pulled up today in the car, he saw us and went back in, later on OH outside the front washing the car, the dad comes back in his car, locks up and walks up the road rather than go back into his house:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:he is 37:rotfl::rotfl:eventually OH saw him and asked him what was all the to do about, he agreed he was being petty and that he had a drink and had gone way OTT, when he walked up the road he must have thought to himself, 'now how am I going to get back into my house?':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Victory, nice one, but I suppose an apology would really be pushing it?

Reporting 0.4lb gain on 16654 calories and only 3/7 days exercise, a 4.25 mile hike, 30 mins horseriding and a gym session.

I was lucky to get away with such a small gain and need to refocus this week to make sure I don't keep gaining.

My high calorie intake included a chinese takeaway, an indian meal out with friends, a dried fruit binge (bizarre I know - but loaded with calories) and generally alot of 'picking'.

Yesterday wasn't so good either, meal out with DS and OH (3 courses including sticky toffee pudding) and popcorn at the cinema whilst watching the new Trekky film.

However, I have redeemed myself partially by hiking 9.75 miles today and 3.3 miles yesterday.

Thats quite a good redemption exercise wise FFM!

Im gonna go finish cooking and eat my roast...YUM! have done some roasted butternut squash to have in place of potatoes( well i will still have one lol). If I remember correctly thats not the healthiest of veg right? Have roasted carrots, peppers and onions to balance it out a bit, but i adore butternut squash!

dmv -hope your ankle continues to improve. I managed to get through today without needing to sleep, but OH looked ill with fatigue when he got home, so I persauded him to have a proper kip on the bed rather than an uncomfortable doze on the sofa.
Victory - lol at the neighbour - kind of completes the story: good to know he knows he had gone OTT. A shame he didn't have the sense and courage to come round and say so but sounds like relations may be restored which is good.

    Vixstar & mazza - good going:T

Polka - I tend to feel that if you sleep like that, you must have needed it. My sis-in law was asking me about plateauing on sw last week and my mind went blank for want of helpful suggestions and still is.

sary: sounds like you ha a good time and had a well balanced approach to food away from home.

Well, I feel I have got quite a lot done today:A. Just house hold stuff and plenty of bulk cooking in the kitchen alternated with paperwork upstairs (in my sittingroom). When I started getting tired doing one, I found just distracting myself with a new task worked and then when tiring at that one, I'd finish something else in the kitchen.
Was lovely weather and probably should have got out but sometimes tasks back so far up they start just being a stress. I'm busy out wed - fri so want to, try and clear the decks with bitty stuff tomorrow and tues.

Tonight we had HM lamb kebabs with cabbage (which I thought was lettuce when I bought it:o but discovered otherwise when I tried to make a salad of it yesterday) Also served yummy roasted butternut squash & red peppers.

Buttonmoon - I think 3 days is too soon to judge your new low carb diet - you really need to stick to it for a week before judging it. It's not a diet that works so well if you cheat either.
Beanie - things getting any easier?

kpc - still in the sw zone?
ffm - you are doing very well on the exercise front. I know you'll be glad if you can stop a little run of small gains though.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
