Well this is what the article said:
Apparently, the average time most of us stick with our January 1 diet resolution is 123 days, meaning this is the week we are at real risk of giving up.

I guess they never visited us lot ;)

Sorry to be nosey Victory, but how much are you selling it for? I'd quite like a Wii, it's just getting it and all the accessories that puts me off!
It is not just the wii but the wii fit, guitar hero, games, extra nunchucks etc, Argos has a deal on the wii with some games for £171 not bad but mine comes with a lot more:D

evening all! lots of cake talk def making me hungry. I've had a hge bowl of rice with some asparagus in it so that should do me. My two favourite cakes are nigella ones from feast - malteser cake(put horlicks in it so it tastes like maltesers) and chocolate honey cake. You pour chocolate honey frosting over it and decorate with marzipan bees. However the combination of a cake that had sunk a bit and rather too runny icing made it look like my bees were drowning in a puddle of sewage. you could just se the little flaked almond wingtips peeping out. tasted good though.

OK, I lied. I preferred it when you talked about cakes, as opposed to the fat foofs!!

Honestly Granny, you're leading all these young ladies astray with your enquiring mind! Just be grateful Vix is a bit quieter these days, otherwise she'd have been more than happy to have explained FULLY about the fat foofs, for sure! lol I do miss Vix's regular updates on here, fancy going and getting a real life like that!?

Well, as Granny knows, because she was pleading starvation on my facebook page, I cooked a scrummy homemade beef casserole for tea, with mash. Made a big pot of it, with some chunky veggies, and that will do the BF for another big helping tomorrow evening, when I'm off out with the girls.

    Food today:
    B - apricot wheats
    L - corned beef salad & coleslaw
    D - beef casserole & mash

I spent the afternoon gardening, and it was so nice to be out in the fresh air, and my efforts are starting to make a transformation. My BF is really pleased with how it's coming along, and has promised to help tidy up a rather grotty corner of the garden (with his carp in it) this w/end. He's also going to build me a fence to give us a bit of privacy. He's done barely a thing with it for 6 years, apart from mow the grass, so it's good to see him enthusiastic about it, and thinking of improvements.

It's interesting that this is the time that the resolutions and commitment stops. I'm all for proving them wrong. I am definitely at a time/weight where I've got stuck before. I presume it's about this time when the healthy eating, and daily meal pattern gets a bit tedious, and the bank holiday or social occasions that happen around now are a big tester. I am finding it harder to resist temptation, and am feeling the urge to snack again, which is where my downfall with occur if I'm not careful.

I am darned if I'll allow that article to be true!
