Better day today managed 20ish minutes of exercise today if I can keep it up all week (and not drink too much on my night out on Thursday...) should see a more significant result next weekend and fingers crossed the next stone down.0

well done katatarina! that s a result when you've had an exciting weekend. don't feel guilty vix, there will definitely be another offer along soon - i'd second the advice and see if you can hunt him out a better deal on the t'internet, maybe using quidco. you might even be able to get him a better deal than the one he'd seen . . .
was fuming at oh last night - he's skint but he went away at the weekend (v cheaply in his defence) and then he went out for a few drinks last night. Before he went i asked him to pay the milkman, and he said he'd see what he had left when he came back. So i fumed and grumped all night, moaned to myself about hte washing up not done, 'how can he say he's skint when drinking is more important than paying bills' etc etc. Added too by the phone call i get saying please can i leave the door unlocked because he's forgotten his keys. Which i can;t do because I it's not the best idea to go to bed and leave the door unlocked. He finally rolls in at 1100(late for me) ad i'm prepared for a fight . . . .only he's brought the mlkmans money back with him. and then empties the bins and puts the wheelie bin out. i suppose he's not so bad after all.0 -
kpc - don't you just hate it when the man in your life doesn't run true to form, and confounds you with his obedience and sensibility!? Mine has been terribly understanding about me being a cranky old grouch over the w/end, whereas he has every entitlement to tell me to stop it, and lighten up!
Polka - Thanks for the kind words. I made me feel guilty, not you. It was a good thing to realise that, yes, I should be happy! You remembered correctly, it was me who said I feel the need for quiet at TOTM. It's a struggle in a house of boys, and I still struggle to go to the loo without someone talking to me through the door. I have a very good pair of sound isolating headphones my BF bought me last birthday, so I plug those in, and listen to some music on my laptop (I like to be an online DJ on Blip.fm sometimes, which is fun).
Katarina - that's a reasonable result this week, so well done for recognising that.
Vix - I totally understand why Matt is disappointed, but in this sort of situation me and my BF try to have an attitude that it just wasn't meant to be, and there'll be a better deal for us. Invariably, it does work out like that. You're the ones in the driving seat, you have the money there to snap up a bargain when you find it, and the internet is a wonderful thing!
Granny - I had a new kitchen a few years back when I was still married, and it was both a nightmare and lovely! The dust was the main bugbear, and we did try to stay out as much as possible. It didn't quite stretch to a pull out larder unit with recycling bins, but it was somewhere I loved to clean and sit in for hours. Funnily enough, I've been searching online this morning to find somewhere to get a price for a piece of glass for a breakfast bar, just so we know how much £ to save up for it. The kitchen here is a bit narrow, but I'm stuck for enough worktop space, so I think this will be a nice solution, keeping it bright and uncluttered feeling (I also want it to be a pale mint green colour to match my fridge)!
Beanie - thinking of you, and hoping things get better for you. I kinda know what you mean about having lots going on!
ffm - well done on the loss, and sounds like lots of effort went into it.
victory - you've had some good loss recently, so is there any particular reason why you're allowing yourself to feel so hungry, and not eating? Surely you can eat something more filling to satisfy that hungry feeling? I just think it can't be good for you, and having a bowl of porridge could have satisfied that hunger for less than 250cals.
Well, another STS for me this week. It looked like being a gain to begin with, but my bowels were thankfully most obliging first thing! I was wondering if that might be TMI, but given the amount of 'sharing' Vix and Buttons have done recently, I'd have to go a long way to do that! :rotfl:
I've had a couple of days where I've had some chocolate (at last), and wanted to have toast for breakfast, and I know that if I carried on like that, it could all go wrong for me. I have reached a plateau that I was at before, and then I gave up trying to lose more, and accepted this was where I'd settle, but then I began to gain again a while after. So, I'm determined to break through this barrier, which is both physical and mental methinks. So, it's DAY 1 from today. I'll be following my usual plan again, and attempting to stick at it. I have a meal out on Friday scheduled, but that is the only time I may be off plan. I have 9 weeks to go until the big anniversary party that I set as my main goal for the year, and I want to shift another stone by then. I have a dress that I was given 2nd hand years ago, that is absolutely divine, but it's a designer number, so it may say size 14 on the label, but you can be sure it's really a size 12. I would so love to be able to fit into it. That is my new goal, and a means of refocussing my determination.
Will check in later. Good luck for any of the weigh ins today, congrats to the losers & STS's, and onwards & downwards to any gains.:TOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Yes I could buy another one but won't, yes I could wear something else but won't and yes I could eat a little bit more but don't trust myself to stop so I won't:D0 -
lol sary, yes it's funny when they don't do what you think they'll do. some interesting thoughts from you and victory abou food. Victory, do you think maybe a bit of boredom has set in? I know when you were using the wii you said you could lose yourself for hours, are you missing it? i'm sure you will get on top of things because i know how dedicated you are, but always remember magic undies can be your friend for those last few lumps and bumps that are in the wrong place . . .0

Having a terrible day today, I am just so hungry constantly. Have tried to eat a lot of fruit instead of the munchies, so no doubt I will suffer for it next week when I weigh in. Either that or I'll need to be mega good for the rest of the week. So hard when your stopping smoking at the same time4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Hi all. Am very happy to report a 0.5lb gain which I think is incredible considering how much I ate and drank for 4 days! Also gives me a small amount of hope that I wont put on more than a stone on my holiday, wont hold my breath tho!
Keep at it mazza, it will be worth it in the end!0
