    Hello guys,
Well, it feels like Monday, even though it's Tuesday, so I'll be out of sync all week now.

    Vix
    - I've been very PMT all w/end. Well, I think that's what it is, but my patience is worn very thin, and I've just felt really off kilter. That's not my usual demeanour, but the past 3 months I've noticed I've been a bit like this at PMT time, so there could be a link. I've also been really tired, and incredibly busy, which hasn't helped. I keep getting stuck into jobs, which have to then be stopped to go make everyone's lunch/dinner, etc., and I'd be really happy if they all just ate weetabix quite frankly. I have no interest in cooking now at all.

Polka - I felt really guilty when you said I must feel really happy! ha ha, just when I was feeling really fed up! lol I do feel better today - I just need some peace, and to be left alone for a bit, which is hard to do. I've still got one of the kids home today, but he's been in the other room doing his thing, so that's OK. I got some fresh air earlier, and I did feel happy when I went and handed my house keys back to the council. That puts an end to that chapter of my life now, thank goodness. I don't think it's settled in fully that I now live in a different town, and with my BF! I'm sure that will take a bit more time.

My food intake has been less monitored, and I don't have a clue why I'm faltering at the moment. I've seen others mention their indulgences and slip ups, and I'm thinking, yup, that's me too. I need to reinstall my structure, and positive vibe I had going on. I'm sure if I do a couple of days, that'll put me back on track. It didn't happen too much today, already!

    B - wholegrain toast & marmalade (!!!!!!? - toast again!!)
L - sliced beef sandwich on wholegrain (more bread) + snack a jacks
snacks - midget gems (sweets - sweet Jesus, I'm a lost cause!)
Dinner will have to be damage limitation, surely!

Right, well I've got to dash off and collect the children in a mo, and then it's on to the dentist for us all afterwards. Should just be a check up for us all. Later guys.

BTW, Vix, after the TV is bought, then why not get a holiday savings fund on the go for you both to save for. Set a target amount to try to achieve, and discuss where you'd both like to go, getting a shortlist of possible locations. Then perhaps you won't feel it's all lost?!

Ooh, also forgot to add, well done to the losers & STS's, great stuff guys, and I'm hoping to be inspired by your successes!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Interesting prog on tonight for anyone interested: BBC1 at 10.35 follows a size 20 journalist on her quest to undersatnd why she is still overweight dispite the fact she knows what she needs to do to lose weight. Has a quality write up.

I feel absolutely bleuuugh today. Bad TOTM plus migraine and I've only just surfaced, so no work today.
Today I wish I had staff.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

interesting story BB. The answer is probably called hard work. Its easy to pick up the chocolate and make the quick meals which are all high in fat. I could be a size 8 i suppose if i exercised and ate less.

scary: yea we have decided that, but it took matt about a year and a half to slowly save what we have now. I want everything now! ha

I think for the journalist Vix, it's about the psycology of food for her and I know some peeps on here will relate more to that than others.
Anyway - you are a healthy weight and shape Vixodes so carry on enjoying life as a young thing:D

Been away for the weekend - and had a day off today too - so it's been a lovely long weekend. I'm giving myself until tomorrow for my official WI. At the moment it's not looking good after all those hotel meals.

Today the kitchen was ripped out. I'm really lucky to be able to have a new kitchen (after almost 30 years and a lot of saving up) but the thought of managing without a kitchen for a couple of weeks is a bit scary. There's just a shell left and all the appliances (keeping everything except the cooker) are in the dining room and around the rest of the house. Normally this would be a fantastic excuse to eat convenience food (especially as the microwave is still available) or maybe have takeaway. This is not going to happen. oh help .....

I could say something very impressive like with the microwave you can roast/steam/defrost/cook/make cordon bleu recipes, make a meal or a feast for millions but I remember how I insisted on having the all singing all dancing expensive microwave that did everything an oven does and much more and all I ever did with it was defrost or heat up the porridge in the morning:rotfl::rotfl:when it came to buying another one for some unknown reason my OH said we would just get the basic on off button press it for heat or defrost and done:rotfl:

1035! Thats way past my bedtime bb! let me know how she gets on. Feeling v motivated, had a good furtle around the body optimise site and looking forward to getting cracking on this weight loss thing again. got a list of free foods i can nick out of hte sample cupboard at work on green days, and about to rummage through the cupboards and write the syns on the packets and tins that I've got. and to find out if those alpne choc fudge bars can possibly be any good.

vix, i get v disheartened, wanting to have things now too. But the thankful feeling you get when those around you who 'got it now' and are now screwed for paying it off more than outbalances it. Everyone i know seems to havin extensiions, rebuilding their houses, or fitting exciting new kitchens and bathrooms. well, i'd kinda like that too - but if i'd gone for it, there's no way that I could have supported oh in his self employment, which means that in the future he's going to do the same for me. things have a way of working out in the end.
