Hi all. Too many posts to reply to so I wont even try! Had an a absolutely brilliant weekend and managed to pack in 3 meals out, lunch out, breakfast out, a bbq, school visit, pub, club, shopping, cinema and general family visits! With all that food and drink I expected a big gain, however hopping on the scales this morning for a sneak peek showed a 1.25lb gain which I'm so unbelievably shocked and happy with! Hopefully some careful eating will make a dent in that by wednesday, but even if not I really cant complain as it was all so incredibly worth it. Am even planning another trip back on my own at the end of summer to see all my old friends again. I never really go out here as I dont have strong friendships with those sort of people which is fine because I like my quiet life with my fella and my dog lol but think I will enjoy going back on my own a few times a year.

I have a horrible burning acidy feeling in my throat which wont seem to go away, breakfast didnt help at all. Am gonna finish up on the pc then get showered, dressed and go get some bread, am guessing tesco express will be open today? Think lunch will be scrambled egg on toast, and dinner sausage and mash.

Someone please ask why when i bought easy food (eg chicken and chips) for OH did he order a take away every night and buy in milk and eggs etc when they are already in the fridge? Also the place is in a right state, so forget catching up on uni work, today is cleaning!

Shame the weather is rubbish, hope it doesnt ruin today for everyone here.

Vixarooni - fruit & veg should make you go, especially strawberries, peas, sweetcorn, etc., and obviously prunes or figs, and oats are often quite effective, so porridge maybe? Drink fresh orange juice too. Make sure you keep your fluid intake up, because dehydration can also make your ability to go a bit sluggish and 'solid' IYKWIM!

dmv - it sounds like a really busy time away, but it sounds like you had fun. Don't even try to get inside the mind of a man - it's a scary place! It's like my BF today; 'where's the charger pack for the drill?', I dunno, I say, you collected it from my house on Tuesday, so I guess you had it. 'No, I've not got it, where've you put it, nothing's ever where it should be!?' I go off looking high & low for it, then 10 mins later he sheepishly says 'I found it on the workbench in my garage, with the power pack in it, on charge.' Hmmm. It didn't jump up and smack him in the face to begin with I see! :D

Today I've been digging out the flowerbeds, and have another to get on with in a mo. It's been raining, but undeterred I've put on a beanie hat, & fleece, and cracked on. I'm not going to see those shrubs go to waste. I didn't get much more than tidying up in the garden, moving all the wood flooring (again) into another shed, and clearing out my potting shed & organising it. I was in a foul mood most of the day after my 2 teenagers argued with me, and upset me. It's not like them, and it takes a lot to make me angry, but they just kept on and on, and that was it, the eeyore cloud descended, and I was in a bad mood for the rest of the day. Better today, thank goodness. TOTM is due today, but no sign yet - unlike me, as I'm usually 2 days early. Perhaps I'm too busy for it!?

I was craving chocolate last night, and had a delve into my box of goodies from Xmas, and allowed myself half a bounty bar. It was scrummy, and just the ticket at quelling the cravings.

    Today's food so far:
    B - 3 slices multigrain toast
    L - bacon roll
    D - not sure yet!

Right, I'm going to leave the BF to watch the superbike racing on TV, and get out into the garden again.

    Back later.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

hi nmm, i tried again about 20 mins ago and got mowhere - it's bodyoptimise not the normal sw site. i searched all over looking for a phone number but the only one on there is the syns line. boo. still i shall not use this an excuse to not get started, just means that my plan of going through the cupboard and writing the syns on things will have to wait for latr in the week.

vix, not sure about the reason for the question, but beetroot does it for me, and makes it pink.

Hey all just popping in to summarise my week. On the food side I didn't stick to plan I'm afraid - calorie counting was a bit half-hearted and I reckon my average was (slightly) over 2000/day. There is weight gain but I don't mind because it was nice to have a rare 'relaxed' week.

Back on the case now and the beauty of monthly weighing is I now have ten days to try to restore things a bit!!!

Exercise and activity as follows - the reason for no running or jogging is because of resting a knee 'niggle' (which seems fine now and I've resumed running - in the rain - today :)).
    • Monday: Nowt
    • Tuesday: Exercise bike | 60 mins | 302 cal | Hike | 67 mins | 345 cal
    • Wednesday: Mountain biking | 127 mins | 692 cal
    • Thursday: Inline skating half marathon | 115 mins | 778 cal
    • Friday: Road cycling | 61 mins | 324 cal
    • Saturday: Walk | 65 mins | 327 cal | Walk | 61 mins | 314 cal
    • Sunday: Step | 30 mins | 147 cal
    Total 9hr 46mins and 3228 calorie burn. 6 different activities :)

KPC - hope you can get sorted, good luck with the SW restart! Good luck this week everyone else as well.

I guess its the join online option, offer ends 5th May that you're trying? I can click it and get to the bit to fill in your details  Maybe try restarting your router, clearing cookies and temporary internet files etc see if that helps.

    3 lbs loss

Thank goodness, I sneaked a weigh in on a pair of wonky scales on saturday night because I couldn't wait any longer. They said I had lost 8lbs which I wouldn't have been happy with in one week, due to the weight I have already lost in a short period of time. Don't want the bungee effect after all do we :p

    4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j
