Thank you everyone, another little update, she has got her scan tomorrow, and has asked me to go with her. Feel sick already, just trying to palm the kids off on anyone who will have them, lol. So we should have at least some sort of answer tomorrow. Just preparing for the longest night of my life.

Thanks for keeping us updated - will be thinking of you tonight and tomorrow. It's incredibly hard to accept sometimes that things can be different from your dream version.
I hope you can support her and we can offer you whatever support is possible on this thread.

Thank you for all your good wishes, feel sick now. Just waiting for my bestest friend to come round to take my oldest 2 to school then I am going. It means such alot to know that people are thinging of my cousin during this hard time. As soon as I get back I will post, hopefully, a full update.

Back from the hospital, and it is not good news. They have confirmed the baby has severe spina bifida. They have said that the baby would not be able to walk, or do anything for himself. She was asked to decide there and then what she wanted to do. She has refused and will think about everything and contact them tomorrow. They didn't even tell her she would have to deliver the baby, until prompted. I have told her I will support her whatever she decides. I just wish I could take away the pain.

oh thats awful news the poor poor girl. a terrible heartbreaking decision to make. thank goodness she has people like you around her supporting her.
