Would it help letting her read the thread so she knows how many people are thinking about her? The only downside is she might not like you talking about her "in public" so take care.

seconded, this really isnt the thread for it.

I know my friends named thier baby, took lots of photographs and had a proper funeral, it didnt make things any easier for them but at least there was a "proper" grieving process, and because of the burial they have somewhere to go to be close to the baby on her birthday.

Im not religious at all but stories like this always make me wish i had the faith to pray for better things... you will all be in my thoughts tomorrow

She will get through this--if she has her friends with her every step of the way. She wont ever forget her baby. If you need any advice re funerals--then please dont hesitate to PM me--Ive been there and however awful it is-having a funeral was the nicest thing i did for my baby.

My friends who terminated after their 20-week scan also had a funeral and I know it helped them enormously. As has been said, it gives you a place and a time to grieve, and a way to remember the baby in the future.

Thank you for all your support and kind words. Baby was born last night, I got sent a picture not long after, he looks just like a sleeping angel. Got to go to the hospital in a minute for the blessing, this is gonna be the hardest thing I have ever done.
