Woo hoo, it's payday :j and the first month that I take on the debts and creditors myself

Plan for this month is to spend as little as possible and cut back. Diary all set up with debt totals, regular monthly spends i.e bills and debts, another section for other spends i.e money i put aside for car, xmas, holidays etc and finally after all of this I have a monthly spends which is basically going to be my spending diary for the month ahead - hoping it'll keep me on track to not waste any money!

Also going to try and lose half a stone between now and next payday - exercise is free (running, dvd's and weights) and food will be planned in advance. Have a lot of fish, veg etc in freezer so aiming to use all of this up before shopping for anymore.

Here's to a super month ahead of spending less, earning more and being able to make some extra payments towards those debts come August :D

Good luck Karen with first month going it alone. Gosh you have done so well paying off a large amount already so you should take pride in what you have achieved already. Keep strong.

    Morning

Hope all is ok and everyone having lovely weekend - i've had a really chilled relaxed one but again one that has been a bit of a reality check and another wake up call to my situation! Won't go on about it but again friends moving on and forward and me being stuck due to finances.....upsets me a lot but this time it's just spurring me to work harder!

So today I am just going to due a bit of food shop and pop to a new cheapy shop in town that apparently has lots of bargains!! We've not got a £1 shop or anything like that where I live but one similar has opened for the first time, must to the distress of the town who tried to petition against it :rotfl:, small minded people in our lovely small market town :p Anyhow, i'm going to have a wonder down today and see what it's all about.

I have a lot of hard work ahead of me and really am not sure of which way to go with it but i'll do it whatever way works best!

Now off to get dressed, make myself look human and hit the food shop etc the MSE way ;)

    K xx

    Evening all,

Can't beleive that the weekend is almost over already and I haven't even had to work. Have three days in London this week  can't say that I am looking forward to the 5am starts but hey ho. Hoping I won't be up after that for a long while.

Already super organised with clothes for office, handbag etc and have sorted out my breakfast and lunch to take with me so no spending of money tomorrow should be needed. Just need to make sure that I do the same when I am up Thurs and Fri too.

Nothing else exciting to report except on a mission, unfortunately I don't have much of a chance do anything this week with being in London but will try my very best!

Have a good week all, just in case I don't get to log on much.

    K xx
