    Evening all,

Not normally on this late but for the life of me I just can't sleep. Have so much whirling about in my mind from money, to washing, to clearing flat...list is never ending. Not to mention being really busy at work on top of all of this! Hey ho, i'll get there.

Really concerned about my attitude towards money of late, it's ridiculously bad and need to nip it in the bud now  I need a plan of action come pay day next week and to stick to it or i'll never be debt free at this rate.

On a plus side I have set up standing orders for debt payments and need to now watch and wait to see what happens. I really hope they are all fine and don't start getting funny. However, if they do i'm strong enough to sort it out myself and know their tactics!

The flat is chaos, OH brought new furniture for spare room today and consequently every bit of junk that we have is now in another part of the flat whilst he is building the new furniture - it looks as if someone has burgled us it's that bad. I can't cope

Anyhow, tomorrows a new day and want to start it on a positive note so must try and get to bed and see if I can't get me off to sleep. Then tomorrow a busy day working long hours and then an evening of sorting the flat. Saturday at wedding all day and then sunday probably recovering from hangover :rotfl:

Hope everyone is well, hope to be back to daily posting soon enough!

    K xx

    Morning :D

Despite having hardly any sleep I feel some what wide awake  - going to make the most of it!

Aims for today are pretty simple -
    • No spend day
    • Work long day at work to clear backlog
    • Start working on clearing my flat
    • Early night
Very simple but needed to get me on my way to sorting things properly. Everything has just spiralled out of control and OH on shift so not about or if is about normally sleeping which is needed.

My aim is to be super up to date and organised by Monday so I can start the week ahead with a clear mind, flat and workload :D

    Have a good day xxx

Hi Karen, sorry I haven't popped in for ages, I must be getting old because I keep stopping and saying oh my god where has this week gone? It only seems like yesterday I was moaning about it being monday :rotfl:

I am glad you had a great time in Brittany and it was lovely for your dad to offer to help you, I think you did the right thing by insisting you do it alone. The best way to learn from a mistake is to deal with the consequences isn't it? An old friend of mine had £6k paid off her credit cards by her boyfriend only to go and run up another £4k as she hadn't learnt anything about budgeting and not spending!

I bet Oscar is getting bigger and more confident/naughty now! How is your own DMP going? Is everyone playing ball?

    Hi JTR,

Know that feeling of getting old far too well

Oscar is lovely - very confident and naughty but all in a playful way. To be honest he's been great and no mishaps from day one, not even a naughty mess anywhere. He is very good.

As for DMP alone -this is my first month paying them myself so we shall see. Those I have managed to speak to have been fine so i'm sure the others will too.

I will pop over to your diary in a mo and pop a post.

Oh my goodness there is no end to the mess of my flat, it just seems to be getting worse. I don't know where to start

So far today, after getting rid of hangover from the wedding yest, I have managed to tidy my work desk, throw out a lot of unwanted paperwork/clutter and hoovered the spare room. That's it!

I have SO much to do, thankfully it is my Monday off tomorrow so after a morning spent with OH's mum I will be cracking on with it. The wardrobe/storage is now all done an up and the spar room already looks 100 times better but now the real sorting begins as I don't want half the junk that was chucked out of the room to go back in....especially now as I am perm working from home and only in London a few times a month.

Will update on my progress later, I also need to get on to banking by end of play today too....so much to do and so little time
