I am SO tired I could cry! How on earth I used to travel to London daily (sometimes 7 days a week:eek:) I do not know!!! Just three days of it this week has knocked the life out of me - i'm already in tucked up in bed.
Looking forward to some normality come tomorrow. Have said i'll do overtime tomorrow but not starting until 10am which gives me an extra 4 hours than my normal 5am start the past couple of days before I get up at 9 - bliss!
Busy wend but as of Monday will be back on track and keeping on top of things - yay :j
Off to get some much needed zzzzzzzzz's now....hopefully i'll look more human in the morning

hi karen - on the engagement present front - how about a token present liek flowers, choccies - failing that perhaps a scrap booking kit from somewhere like the works. If you had tesco clubcard vouchers - perhaps you could get her a magazine subscription?
hope you are recovering well from that commute!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hello everyone,
Hope you're all ok and had a lovely weekend. Can't beleive it's nearly monday already! Although i'm lucky in that it's my monday off so another day for me
Had a lovely weekend, slept until 9am Sat and then did 6hrs overtime :T Sat night went to friends to share chinese and have a good old catch up. Today had a lie in with my lovely man and then off to friends engagement celebrations this afternoon and then to lovely pub by water with another friend for dinner and then to mums for a cuppa before heading back home. Very nice indeed, not so MSE but sometime we need to do these things, don't we
Tonight I have completely cleared, sorted and cleaned the kitchen and am going to make a start on the living room. Aim is to ensure that I don't spend my day off tomorrow cleaning which I normally do. OH is off and we've not seen much of each other of late so want to go out for a nice walk or something...weather pending obviously!
Aiming for a nice cheap week and weekend ahead - OH is away for the weekend so I will make sure I do the overtime and have some quality me time, maybe invite some of the girls around but I won't be spending any money. Try to compensate for the spends this weekend.
Anyhow, back to the cleaning and clearing....

Hey there, hope everyone is well and all ok.....apart from the pain of debts
Had me a lovely day with OH. Went to Chichester for the day, wondering around window shopping and then had lunch. This afternoon had a dvd session on the couch (with dvd's we own already, so saved on pennies) and then this evening sorted some of the flat together. Really lovely day off.
Back to work tomorrow but thankfully from home. Have a few bits I need to get on and do so will start tomorrow....
