Ok, finally five minutes to update!
Can't tell you what good it did me not logging in on here every five minutes! No offence to anyone on here as I love catching up with you guys as you know but found it was taking over my life! I was literally logging on as soon as I finished work, during work, after dinner, in bed and so on....not good
Anyhow, almost a week away and have found a bit of normality in life again. Work is picking up and I find that I am concentrating more in that area. Something I wasn't doing when logging on here every hour just to check on updates etc.
Anyhow, am back and refreshed and won't be logging on too regularly in the day, maybe once or twice.....watch this space
So, since updating this diary regularly I have put away £310 in savings - woo hoo :T I've def been far more savy with my money however there is still room for improvment as haven't stopped the adhock mag or bar of choc....waste of money
OH has been better too, we're on board together and know where we want to get to in all financial areas - we'll do it!
I'm letting the dmp deal with itself for the mo, creditors are happy and I am happy with that for now. Until such times I have a large sum of money saved for some full and finals I am going to let it do it's business and carry on sorting/saving.
Hope everyone has been well and happy
I'll be surfing later tonight to catch up on everyones threads.

Morning all,
Hope everyone is well today. I'm feeling a tad poorly, sore throat, aches etc
Nothing exciting planned for my day, lots of work and then a nice bath and bed me thinks. Might surf with laptop in bed tonight and catch up on you lovely peeps and your diaries - not had a chance yet and at friend for dinner last night so didn't get to log on last night.
Need to work out another plan of action for payday - the usual things spend less, work more - save more.....boring.
Have a nice day all,

Feeling a bit perkier after numerous meds and a rest at lunch....so plans for the rest of today are....
1. Put on another wash load (already done two) and hang out to dry.
2. Quick spruce of flat.
3. Check online banking.
4. Start preparing for wend away (OH and I off to Snowdonia for some camping, walking, climbing etc - can't wait :j)
5. Finish a days work....nearly there
Just general stuff but find if I list it then i'll have better chance of getting it done - i'm weird :rotfl:0 -

Hi Karen
Me too - I have to write it down to try to shame myself into getting stuff done!
You are doing really well with the overtime, well done. I wish I could earn some extra doing overtime but my company don't offer it - and I've not got enough time for a second job as I have a long comute
Debts seem to decrease so much more slowly than they increased :mad:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
 Hi Karen, it's good to see ypu back and I am glad to hear that the break has done you good, sorry I haven't got on before now but I have also been trying to limit outside of work internet/computer use!
The savings is awesome! That is a nice chunk to have tucked away
Sometimes I think a DMP is unmotivating, like we have said, you cant really over pay until you have enough for a F&F so it just has to do it's own thing, it must be nice to be able to see big chunks coming off a credit card or similar!
Hope you have a good day today, I will pop back soon
Very happily married on 10th April 2013
