Hey there guys,
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the bank holiday weekend. Little update....
1. Managed to come in under my weekly spend budget this week :j
2. Added another 5 hours to my overtime total yesterday :j
New plans for next week.....
1. Weekly budget of £30 + the £10 I have left over from this week which will be handy as have a night out next Saturday. Basically need a no spend week until next Saturday
2. Eat sensibly
3. Exercise 30 mins a day
4. Get some proper sleep!
5. Overtime where possible.
Nothing new or exciting.
jtr2803 - that trip of crazy golf and chips by the sea sounds like a very nice MSE evening out! I did manage to come in under my budget. Think this weeks going to be harder though.
mrscmr - you're back :j Hope you are feeling well and recovered now.
Thank you all for your lovely support and comments re being lonely. I've decided that half of is that I need to make more of an effort as I am a BIG fan of my own time and space......maybe not so much of late, will blame it on the hormones :rotfl: I am going to make the effort here where I live and contact a couple of the girls to see if they fancy a trip to the cinema (orange wed) soon. I have also spoken to OH and he's going to make the effort and organise a few coupley nights out to one of the nice local country pubs with friends so I get to know people better. It's so hard as everyone works normal mon to fri weeks but OH is police officer so has shift work and obviously catching up on sleep etc in between so he's never about to make great plans and then when we do something happens at work and he ends up later home etc..... Not his fault though bless him.
I am also going to look into local groups, probably running as it's something I think I can get into properly or a yoga class. Something for me. I am also going to look into studying something at evening college come september. There are few colleges within 30mins drive from us so that might be something to think about. Not so MSE as will have to pay for course I decide to do but I think it would be good for me.
Anyhow lovely people, i've yapped away far too much. Thanks again for your lovely support as usual, it's really appreciated :A

Hi Karen
Well done on your weekly spends.
Re meeting people, you often find that the "Police wives" are very friendly and welcoming as they know what it is like to travel around and having to make new friends (I have a friend whose hubby is in the Police). Perhaps you could offer to invite a few couples over for a dinner one night? MSE friendly of course! You'd get lots of ideas for MSE dinner parties on the Oldstyle board.

Hi Karen!
Hope you are ok and not feeling so blue.
A course is a good idea, as is joining a club. Look in the local papers to see whats about. Couple of our friends go ballroom dancing once a week and they have made quite a few new friends, as well as keeping fit and learning not how to trip each other on the dance floor. You don't need to go with a partner either, so if Mr K_30 is busy, its not a problem.** Proud to be dealing with my debts **LBM - Jan 2009 _pale_ : £24,802.21 :eek:February 2010 :silenced: : £18,078.47 (not including OD)July 2010= £16,819.34 (not including OD)

Afternoon,
Thank you all for your lovely posts. I've not been home for couple of days so this is the first chance to post properly.....after popping in to see how SH got on in interview first of course!;)
Dropped OH to airport at earlier so now just back and settled on couch to chill out for a bit. We had a lovely day yesterday down by the sea, crazy golf and then lunch in Strada....yum yum
Nothing exciting planned for this evening - probably a tidy about flat and an nice early night. Have the bed all to myselfBack to work tomorrow and it's busy busy busy. Hoping there will be a bit of overtime but not sure this week as systems have things to do too.
Anyhow, yapped enough. Have a lovely evening all.
