Maybe you could reclaim the PPI? have you looked at the reclaim PPI insurance board?
I totally agree with Laura. It's worth looking into. I managed to claim off an old Egg card. I've also been battling MBNA. We sent it to FOS about 18 months ago, but MBNA wouldn't accept their decision. It's gone to the ombudsman for a final decision, but fingers crossed it's looking positive. If you go for it and are turned down at the 1st hurdle, don't give up!One step at a time0 -
Where does the day go!!!! I've achieved zilch so far and omg it's already nearly 2pm aaaggggh!
Sorry fellow DFBers:cool: Am on a mission (this thread will self destruct in 5 secs)
Binkleyboncus website will not work so I can't make any payments to anyone:eek:
Am now on another mission
I have a severe problem with "Notthrowawayitus" and I am going to declutter and tidy my little house so that I can stop spending money on things I have already got but have misplaced:o
This clutterbuck is:(
If I can tackle the debt germs then I can tackle the dust bunnies/mess monkeys that keep attacking no matter what I try to do
So, together with the birthday challenge, I think that it will help me save loads of dosh and make me :j:j:j. Any support appreciated 5....4....3....2....1...May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without:cool:0 -
Hi Clutterbuck
I know exactly what you mean - my house is a tip at the moment and I have taken a couple of days off at the end of the week so I can get it into a clutter-free tranquil state before my birthday :j.
I am going to be ruthless and either ditch, donate or sell anything that I don't use. I think that once I have cleared my life from useless items, I can concentrate on spending time making money and clearing debts in a nice clean and tidy environment.
I'm also going to do a food shop tonight as just seem to be buying things every day as and when I think of it. I'm giving myself a budget of £20 as I have a Tesco voucher for £2 off over £20 (so will actually get £22 worth of food).
Going to do a few TMF offers too from the freebies board as every little helps and if I can get a few free products then it does all add up.
Right, off to get some questions done seeing as my hospital appointment finished earlier than expected so have a few hours off work.

In case I forget HAVE A LOVELY BIRTHDAY!!!! :j:j:j
I just thought I 'd put that in first- Good luck with the Tesco spending because I was going to go out but asked my m-i-law to get just bread for me as she was on her way past- I think that'll have saved me a few shillings!!!:D:D
She has asked me to go with her to Bluewater tommorow and I am happy to oblige as the first batch of clearing/decluttering has produced a £10 forgotten voucher wayhah! No- I'm not going to spend it m-i-law has swopped it for cash!!! Fiona x

Well done on the extra £10 - see how a good declutter is going to help us. I hope I find some forgotten goodies :j

I'm a bit late, but can you count me in please - The aim is to be debt free by 40.....which is November 2010. So, about £33000 to be gone by then.
It should be more than possible, because it has always been my aim to be clear of the debt by then, but the more I can do to make it a reality the better.....
I have just returned from holiday, so am trying to get the [STRIKE]kick up the backside[/STRIKE] focus I need to get that debt tumbling down!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
